"Live like you'll die tomorrow, work like you don't need the money, and dance like nobody's watching."

"I cant die, I'm booked"-George Burns

"Amber Ray's pageantry is easily described as iconic. This variety vixen is a sensation in the evolving essence of pop art and culture. Her chameleonic qualities measure boundless variations and are sure to astonish you with her graceful confrontations and fantastical flamboyance. She is well known for her many characterized acts and adventures based on collaborations for style makers such as Anti-gravity, Susanne Bartsch, Thierry Mugler, Jackie 60, Penny Arcade and a thrivingly talented New York City performance community. She is inspired by classic burlesque, the freak chic, theater, high-fashion, old Hollywood and the feminine mystique visible in every era. You will find her most often amusing the masses through various cabaret, burlesque and variety stage productions, art installations, sitting for painters, photographers and designers as well as dazzling at high end events. Ardently sharing her love of style and luster in a purely spiritual expression, Amber Ray works as an artist, costume designer, singer, burlesque entertainer and all around creative force of nature. Promoting her love of glamour you can find her vending her personalized accoutrements. She regularly appears in various publications, and has cameos on cable & network TV. Brace Yourself for her power-packed manifestations of absolute fabulousness."

"...Creative Sexpot..." -Ny Magazine

"My favorite model, Amber Ray, is a veritable chameleon...." -Molly Crabapple for Village voice interview

"Amber Ray, Dressed as an orange and black butterfly, did not enter (the costume contest),but should have won every costume contest in town. on all four days. Someone give her something." -Tricia Romano, Village Voice

"Sultry Burlesque Vixen..." -Java Magazine, Amy Young, Phoenix

"...A coffin painted by Poison's Rikki Rocket (used to dramatic effect by Burlesque vamp Amber Ray durring a live strip tease that included blood, glitter and a human chandelier (Muffinhead). Deathrock’s flair for the theatrical never dies, does it?" -Lina Lecaro, LA Weekly

"A mini-militia of flamboyant performers has taken a hold of the floor boards, armed with outlandish themes, extraordinary costumes and performances that leave the most jaded hipsters with mouth agape. Astonishingly, this battalion of BQ bad-asses all live in the heart and mind of one woman: Amber Ray. Since her arrival in NY 2 years ago, Amber Ray has become one of the most inventive and prolific performers in the burlesque and fetish scenes..." -Kara Mae, Tease Magazine, issue #9 (6 page feature on AR titled "Genius in a G-string") 2004
