Mayhem # 1520366
Currently I am looking for dancers !! If you know ballet , pointe, mordern and even Tap please let me know. I have a large range of ideas I am trying to get onto paper right now. Most of my dance ideas will be in studio in typical dance wear (if you have costume/ outfits I am open to that). I do however need a model that is comfortable doing artistic nudes and dance. This is paid shoot shoot, contact me for the details.
Few things I would like to state up front:
Starting now, all models will be required to sign a model release before the start of the photo shoot, I am done dealing with amateurs.
I try to have fun and have a stress free photo shoot. If you ask models I have worked with I am sure they will agree. The theme and parameters of the shoot will be discussed and agreed upon before the shoot. I will not change the shoot and I expect the model to do the same.
If we are shooting TFP then we will agree upon the number of "best selected" that will be photo shopped/corrected/touched up. If you so choose you may select which images you will get. They will have a trade mark name/date on the images unless it is discussed beforehand, and have a good reason.
If we are doing a paid shoot then that is your compensation. Unless pre-arranged you will not receive copies of the images. If you do receive images as well this will effect the paid compensation. We all need images at some point if you do then maybe TFP is the best option or I don't know maybe hire a photographer to create the images you are looking for.
I try and keep a very professional yet friendly interaction with models/MUA/ etc that I work with. No matter what/where/when the shoot is you can always bring an escort. I am not sure why this is an issie with some people. Granted if they are distracting to either the model or the photographer this is a problem. They maybe asked to leave or if its a problem the shoot will be cancelled.
Use a vertical and not a Horizontal cropped image for your profile picture (MM will shrink it down and make it harder to see) and use one that is either a head shot or half body shot. You are promoting yourself not the car you are standing by or some large landscape you are in. Also the mailing system here shows if you have read or open a message sent to you. Respond to all emails even if it is as short as "no thank" "too busy right now" "will get back with you" or " your style does not fit what I am looking for". If someone knows you opened an email and it takes you a week or more to get back with them. They will mark you down as unreliable or a flake. Photographers talk just as models do about who they are working with, who is a waste of time etc. Don't get your named burned because you are lazy, can't make up your mind or worse don't care.
Don't clutter your profile with 15 of the same images, with slightly different hand positions, it gets old fast !
If your look changes often or is different then what your profile pic is, State it in your profile, near the top and in detail, " Hair is now short, bright pink with a purple cow print on one side". Hell it might be what I am looking for, but to plan a shoot and rent the studio, hire a MUA and then find your shoot is gone. You will have wasted your time and mine, as well as a good amount of money.
