My name is Derek / AKA "Shadowelement" and I am here to network with other photographers and models in Ontario. My rates are reasonable, sometimes negotiable, and their is the odd occasion where I will shoot TFP


I am a Hamilton Ontario local and started with digital art about 5 years ago, since then I have been published internationally 6 times and have been sought after for some major clients such as Advanced Photoshop Magazine for whom I have written numerous masterclass tutorials and for numerous other photoshop based magazines. Our studio is capable of doing everything from product identity, key visuals, photography to beauty retouching. We even provide greenscreen video based work, and are capable of full rendered backgrounds objects or whatever is needed.

At the present we are a home based photography studio, where we shoot clients for their portfolio's and publishers along with personal artworks and also for a stock account at Deviantart.com. Rarely will I use stock images in my art and prefer to shoot the model myself which is a mutually beneficial arrangement for all involved.

Aside from figure based art forms, I also do digital matte painting for cinema, book cover artwork, CD artwork and I am available 24/7. Contact me for booking times and any other questions can be handled directly thru here.
