Working hard, making magic happen.
I think my greatest strength is in story telling images. I like finding interesting ways to communicate the information a model needs to share with casting directors.

What do you have to offer a shoot that no one else does?  Why are YOU the model that deserves the job you are auditioning for today?  These are the ideas I hope come through the images I help models create for their portfolios.

I trained as a theatrical designer- my degree is from the North Carolina School of the Arts- so I think in terms of sets and costumes for a shoot..... WHY are you where you are in the image, and what is the correct clothing to finish telling the story? Once you decide these answers, and hopefully find something unexpected to say in the image as well- creating the image is really the fun easy part...  Shooting is fun, and creating images to help models book jobs is really what I'm all about.
I was taught what agencies are looking for in model's portfolios beginning with Steven Watkins at Elite, when they had an office in Atlanta. A model's portfolio is more than just a collection of pictures of a particular person. It should be a set of information that helps a casting director decide if you are right for a job.
When there's a casting- there is a job opening. YOU have to be the one they pick, so you can get a paycheck. Your photographs reflect whether you are ready for the job or not. So, If you have strong images that tell a casting director you are ready- you get hired. If you don't have those images, they choose someone else. It's that simple. You have to decide if you are ready to invest in your career as a model enough to want to get hired for work.
I am also a clothing designer/wardrobe stylist, and work frequently on jobs for MAJOR magazines (Vanity Fair, GQ, InStyle.... etc) My stylist portfolio is MM#127026
Do not hesitate to contact me for rates, or to ask if I MIGHT consider a trade shoot with you. (It happens, just not a whole lot.. )
