Eighteen year old JCee is the hottest young artist to the rap culture of north Texas. Hailing from Burleson, Texas the rapper is from the same hometown as American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson. JCee is the freshest new rapper to take fans by storm with lyrical punch lines, quick delivery, flawless flow, and high energy performances. His music is a mixture of Hip-Hop/Urban/Dirty South style of rap even including crossover into pop, EDM, and dance hop. He has gripped the skater / extreme sports culture with his wild boy style and skater image and has become the total package for the future of rap. JCee has always had an interest in music, performing, and showmanship but decided in 2012 and make rapping his life. JCee writes his own lyrics and dedicates himself to perfection in the studio or live. This has led to him getting the opportunity to work with industry professionals like Snow Tha Product (Atlantic Records), Ty Macklin (Multi-Platinum Grammy award winning composer/producer for Erikah Baddu and India Arie), multiple radio personalities, etc. His dream is to work with multiple producers to get that perfect sound and someday his music inspirations. Where he co-owns the business and when it comes to music JCee is a workaholic. Producer Ty Macklin says he has never seen an artist grow as fast as JCee in every aspect of the music business. JCee is under management at 2nd Step and secured his first 10 song deal at Sanction Records at the age of 15 just before his 16th birthday. He is working with manager to gain sponsorship from multiple companies as he gains exposure with a new 15 date tour to be scheduled in mid 2014. He enjoys all aspects of the business but the adrenaline rush from performing and sharing the energy with a crowd is his preference. The JCee was discovered in Houston, Texas at his third show of the day by the popularly known music exec. Kurt Woodley, who helped launch the careers of Sean P Diddy Combs, Mary J. Blidge, Jodeci, Big L, Alicia Keys, and others and also worked alongside Chris Schwartz (Lauryn Hill, The Fugees, Cypress Hill, Criss Cross) and Chuck Lewis who previously worked with super manager Dick Scott (New Kids On The Block).
