About Me

I am a portrait by design type artist. I do enjoy also working with models and doing business or head shot type images. I have worked with models on and off this site. That has been a great experience. I tend to surprise people with what I can do with a different approach improvising and using minimal equipment.

I specialize in producing images on photographic paper on stretch canvas which can potentially be painted with acrylic oils or brushstroked in custom frames at many size options. I will use film or digital mediums. I love both natural and studio light. I am great portrait professional that works well with people of all types. Sometimes I have special projects in mind, but mostly I do images in trade for money. If you want to hire me, please give me a call and I specialize in working with creatives, businesses, women or men, mothers, seniors, pets, or someone looking to have some solid images for their modeling profile. It is pretty amazing what I can do with basic natural light or a few artificial light sources planned or more spontaneously.

I am a bit more selective on TCD/TFP projects, but if you are wanting to do that, I am always up for some practice if it is a good fit for my portfolio or developing a particular skill set. However, I also have paid a few MMs for the privilege of working with them when I first started out. If I do work with you in any capacity, it will be automatically assumed and agreed that I am free to use it for portfolio purposes, commercial endeavors, and to post the images on my websites when complete. I now have all models sign a release form so there is no confusion and we establish perimeters for the project and work out all the fine details. We both have to feel safe when we work together after all. If you want a copy of my work afterwards to use in your personal portfolio, I can email you them via One Drive (images available only by request). I only ask that you mention that I made the image and not sell it without my permission and agreeing to a price in written form. This being said, I am also for hire and will work with clients on their projects and vision if I am a good fit.

Feel free to contact me and we can see if we are mutually interested to proceed to the next step. Please include your typical availability, any ideas, locations, costumes you want to wear, or themes you would like to explore. If you want to work with me, simply state this in your communication with your ideas and terms. If mutually accepted, we will set up a time in my busy calendar. I typically only hire female subjects mainly because aesthetically I appreciate the female form more. I may make an exception if the opportunity is right like fire performers or something fun.

I enjoy taking photographs typically outside in public, but I can do some indoor work or as long as we are strategic and the space is free or paid for. I do relish the opportunity to work with my studio lights however. I have had great results in places with lots of natural light, isolated nature, rustic places, and scenic isolated backyards. I can work in some indoor locations with portable backdrops if that works out better. I am OK with the model bringing a friend or significant other along just as long they don't interfere with our work. I will respect boundaries and not ask anyone to do anything they are not willing to do. I am a professional and expect my models to be the same. Everyone I have worked with here has been great and a real joy. I notice the best models have the most humble personalities and confidence in what they provide. You can contact any of the MMs listed here as a references prior to working with me if you wish.

I like to have things be natural and work in part with what the subject brings to the session, even if I have something in mind beforehand. I also like trying to come up with more avant-garde ideas since I have been inspired by many great artists.

I am always learning and growing striving to produce great results. I hope to never stop learning and growing to develop quality and passion in my work by pushing myself to something better.

A big thanks to those who were willing subjects as models for my photographs. These images are samples only and not to be collected, distributed, or sold without my expressed written permission out of respect for me and my subjects.

Bad Charlotte:

I can also provide other references from Fine Art Models I worked with. I met several I worked with in Vancouver BC where I took a creative workshop and produced some amazing pieces. I am sure they would be happy to be contacted if you need more references (Both male and female).
