I am a model who is looking for opportunities to gain experience in this crazy competitive world. Right now I am mostly focusing on meeting new photographers and doing paid work. I first started modeling in 2012 when I won a modeling contest for a lingerie store. This started a fire burning inside me that has grown in mass and strength ever since. I have now participated in many photo shoots with the company and have been given the opportunity to strut my stuff at fashion shows. Soon after I was discovered, I felt the need to expand myself beyond lingerie and venture into other styles of modeling. I am just starting to expand my career and I am hoping that Model Mayhem will help me in this adventure.
Ever since I was a little girl, I loved having my photo taken. I was that girl who would happily pose for her mother who retook the exact same picture 30 times to make sure it was perfect. ( And would then insist on her taking another one, slightly different not five minutes later) I have always been obsessed with photos and the fashion industry, I absolutely adore the art. I think that it’s incredible how a simple change in hair style, a bit more eyeliner or a pair of heels can totally change an outfit, a mood, a day or even a character. When I applied for the lingerie modeling, I gave the reason that I should win because I love lingerie. Not because it’s silky and sexy and fun to put on or drives the boys insane. But because of the way it makes me feel. I think that it is amazingly fantastic that if I am having a crappy day, all I really have to do is dress for success and I can guarantee my day will change. I love clothing, I love hair and make-up and I love modeling. But what I love most is that when I get in front of that camera, I am in charge, I control my mood and my attitude. Modeling honestly changed my life, I am so much happier in all aspects of life, and for the first time in my life, I know that in front of that camera is exactly where I belong and it is where I was always meant to be.
