About Me

Summary
Internationally published photographer with over a decade of experience. Credits include publishing projects by Sterling Publishing (a Barnes & Noble company), MagEtc, and Live Model Books. See my Author Page on Amazon.

Lots of details about a shoot can be found on this Model Information page.

My main project is "Art Models," which provides high quality photos carefully crafted for figure artists. The idea is to provide a clean, clear, high-resolution photo that shows what the model actually looks like in the studio at the moment the picture is taken with very little interpretation. There's no glitz, minimal makeup, and simple lighting.

A shoot would include poses similar to any of the photos in my portfolio. Every pose is photographed in rotation. As a result, models must be able to hold a pose perfectly still on a platform that starts and stops for about 3 minutes. Some poses show the genitals in rotation and models should be comfortable with that. A shoot is typically 3 hours in our Southern NH studio. If you would like to discuss a shoot, please click the Send Message button at the top of the page.

Models:
You will become the inspiration for artists around the world and well into the future. With nearly 100,000 print books sold in 3 languages, models who work with us appear in homes, universities, and studios around the globe.
I respect the creativity and talent of the models we work with; everyone brings something unique to the studio. One of the best parts of this project is getting to meet a variety of interesting people. I value those relationships and always strive for a relaxed and professional shoot in which everyone leaves happy, paid smile, and eager to work together again.

I never pay a deposit.
This is a business. I am trusting you to show up and am investing hundreds of dollars in preparations for a shoot, I expect the same trust in return. I am looking for reliable people who are completely comfortable posing for full nudes.

One final note:
If you are not certain you can show up on time when scheduled for a shoot, please do not contact me. Even if this is a hobby for you, common courtesy and a high degree of professionalism is appreciated. Thank you!

Getting to My Studio
The studio is located about 10 minutes from route 93 exit 1. Also, the Boston Express Bus runs hourly service from South Station to Exit 2 in Salem NH in about 35 minutes. See http://www.bostonexpressbus.com for details.

Review of one of my books:

Art Models takes the guesswork out of lighting the human form in multiple situations. The many poses allows one to choose any combination of limbs, torsos, heads, hands, and feet, to create any pose not presented in the book or CD. I especially appreciate the ethnic diversity of the chosen models that allows greater versatility in developing skin tones both in light and shade. A superb addition to any artist's library.
