About Me

Some forms of art are uncertain. In Drawing and Painting, you can be the best artist in the world, yet there is still a huge change that whatever you create can turn out to be... not so good. Photoshop is different. When you begin with a beautiful picture, no matter what you do, you end with a beautiful picture. This is why I chose to become a Photo-retoucher. I am a firm believer that anyone can photoshop, however, not everyone can photoshop well. It takes an eye for color, contrast and textures as well as limitless patience. Photo-Editing is probably the thing In life where I am most patient.

•Originally self taught, using photoshop since 2003.
• Ive taken a class at the School of Visual Arts in High-End digital retouching for billboards and building sized images taught by Carrie Dawn Beene.
• I worked as an intern at a High-end digital retouching firm in Soho NYC called Park Lane Litho where I both participated in, and observed industry professionals work on clients such as Tiffany's, Michael Kors, Tom Ford, LaCoste, and Coach.
• I've purchased and followed along with Nick Saglimbeni's Mastering Retouching DVDs teaching high-end retouching techniques specifically for Magazines including beauty and glamor shots.
•I've taken many additional online tutorials including advanced techniques like frequency separation.

IMPORTANT: My gallery here is limited because this website only allows you to upload extremely low resolution images and most of the images I work with are 300-400 DPI.

My website is currently under construction, but feel free to navigate to it too see the layout design which shows some of my graphic design work.

Note: Keep in mind I am a high-end retoucher and prefer to work on less than 5 images per contract.
