Model, actress, and photographer Serena Star was born on September 13, 1988 in a little town she has come to call Wonderland. Spending most of her youth shut up behind closed doors, she managed to evade the closed minds of the social order and learned to deal with every obstacle that she faced. Being blessed with open-minded parents, she was encouraged to find her own path in life and disregard other negative influences which tried to mold her into society's cookie-cutter image. Enlightened to the prejudice and discrimination that was illustrated everyday, she grew aware of the intolerance she would face and prepared herself emotionally for the persecution she would later ensue. "Wonderland" became to her as Wonderland was to Alice, a nice place to visit - but not to stay. It was a place which enabled her creative and artistic mind to blossom without profuse excruciation but she couldn't prosper either. Alleviated by the tolerance of the underground culture, she opened herself up to many styles including gothic , medieval and renaissance, victorian, vampiric, cyber industrial goth, retro pin up, and many more. At the age of 14/15 she took her first serious interest in photography. She studied everything through the lens of her camera and became passionate about the beauty it brought out in a world she had grown to think was so dull and forlorn. Even Alice at one point had stated, "What is the use of a book... without pictures or Conversations?" The exquisiteness of how the world seemed to change within a photo captivated her and she loved it. Now at the ripe age of 18 she has grown to have a very sweet and sensual yet hot-tempered personality. She enjoys working with others and seizes any opportunity to take her place in the spotlight. Noted for her child-like cheerfulness and Professional attitude, she can portray the ages between 15 and 20, but is very mature when it comes down to her work. In the years to come she hopes to meet more open-minded and creative souls who can overcome the age barrier that currently keeps her from flourishing in her fields of interest. She awaits the day she will be able to express herself without torment and tribulations, and hopes to one day become a known figure in the alternative modeling industry. Serena is one fiery redhead, ready to take on the challenges that are dealt to her as she pursues unveiling her unique individuality.

Please do not waste my time asking for TFP. I do not do free photoshoots. This is my Job, it is what I do for a living. Would you ask your doctor for a free photoshoot? Would you ask him or her, "Oh and would you mind giving my [mother/father/son/daughter/etc] a check up while we are here as well?" Of course not. Why would you do it to me?

-maxim/stuff/playboy type look tanned model (to work on my glamour/

-Fetish model (with an extensive wardrobe/willing to do nude) that I feel will benefit my portfolio.
- 5'7 or taller and physically thin for Fashion work

If we are shooting, these are somethings I would like to know so I can get an idea of what you are looking for and I can set up the shoot:
1. Do you have something in mind to wear,
if not what size do you wear?
2. What color theme would you look for?
3. What theme in general are you aiming for? (Pinup, Fashion,
Fantasy, Cyber, Victorian, Glamour, Fashion, nude, fetish etc)
B. If fantasy, what element (I do a lot of earth type
elements but I am looking to do a fire set)
4. Are you willing to pay for a makeup artist ?
(I know a few amazing artists- Will cost about 100-200$)
(A makeup artist completes a look and transforms a girl)
5. What dates are YOU free to shoot?
6. Any other ideas or comments, especially
if you have an idea of something exact to shoot.
A lot of the time when I write someone for TFP it is for a test for one of my ideas below. No, I do not have a concept for the most part. its a TFP shoot to work with you and see how well you pose, take direction, the chemistry between the two of us (I like fun, personable shoots
)etc.
All I ask is to pack a bunch of clothes and lets have fun!
Please use chapstick several days before the shoot. Make sure your nails are done (doesnt need to be professional just no chipped nail polish please) Buy thick lashes..You can get them from any drug store. Please use a lotion before the shoot on your arms and legs (so we dont have the reptile looking skin) and get good rest the night before. Please Pack several outfits so we can do changes. .. Bring a robe for in between. Bring an Ipod if you have one! If you have your own mascara/foundation and I am doing your makeup, its a lot faster to bring your own! Get a lot of rest the night before!

Then, starting at 50$ per a look. A look is one style -- one makeup, one hair, one setting, etc. Some of my work is more intricate, built up sets, etc. If you wish for something of this natural, let me know ahead of time and we can discuss the fees involved with one such project.
You MUST have a makeup artist on your shoot, No you can not do you own makeup unless for some reason you are a certified makeup artist. I have several favorite makeup artists that I can refer you to. I can do makeup at a cheaper price of $50.00 a look, but it will make the shoot run longer. I can not however, do hair.
What you get: Contact sheets of photos from shoot to pick from. 1-2 Images fully edited images per a look, web resolution ( 900x longest side, 72 dpi). Additional edits can be purchased at $50.00 a photo. Think that's high? Try hiring a retoucher. You are lucky if you can find one at 50 an edit. Most charge 75$ an hour. No, I will not give you unretouched images. My job is to present you with the best image you can get. Perfect pores, hair, dress wrinkle free, etc.
I do not allow clients to edit my photos. My photos are my artwork and mine so I will do the editing, thanks.
I do not give out full resolution files. I do not give out CDs... Ever. Would Martha Stewart sell a pillow half sewn? Do not ask, my images are copyright - I don't want to see you selling them. 8x10s start at $50.00 a print and go up in there. I can print any size, Mount them, frame them, make a book for you, etc. Whatever you would like.
Need something else? Please do not hesitate to send me an email, I can work with you on a price within your budget.
Note: My copyright logo will be on ALL photos.
Also, I do not allow Models to sell prints. If you wish to submit a photo to a magazine, you can ask and of course I will say yes, but this is for promotional portfolio use only.
*Photos can be used on models paysite if credit is given to photographer.
For my own projects (TFP with Established, Agency models), The photos will be sent whenever I finish them without a timeframe. I do not give out originals to TFP models. Paid model photos will be priority to be returned. If I have a lot of shoots going on, it could be several weeks or more before I send you photos.
*Please allow at least 4-6 weeks for TFP photos to be returned depending on the amount of paid work which is priority to TFP.
Paid shoots will receive images 2-4 weeks-- images can be rushed for a fee. Contact sheets of all images from shoot will be returned 1-3 days from shoot date*

Stewarts Rootbeer Stand/Drive in - Model dressed up in a waitress sort of outfit with skates..Either a old fashioned car or another model sitting at the stand. There is also an old fashioned drive in theater nearby..and an old vintage movie theater. Sort of a old 50's style shoot. Prefer models with own hair/makeup stills or makeup artist... and own wardrobe. - Completed part one
Rodeo/Farm Pinups- Rockabilly style! I am currently in the process of setting up a pinup shoot at a horse farm/ possibly a nearby bull riding rodeo. Dates to be announced
Belly dancers/gypsy around fire - I am setting up a fire elemented photo hopefully soon. I want thin proportionate girls of a pale skin color who can pick up the light from the fire/moon well and also have long hair. If you have your own outfits, great - if not I can provide for some.
Unicorn Girls- I also need extremely thin petite girls with very long blonde hair for this photomanipulation piece. Along with the photo above I will not shoot it until I can get 5 girls together who I have tested and feel will show up and do the job I need. This will probably be an all day shoot.
Mermaids - when I finally get around to sewing skirts to act as tails I want to either go down to the beach or work around a nice blue pool with a group of girls as mermaids. Working on more water elements
You must be willing to be at the beach by 4am in order to set up and shoot with the sweet light of the morning. DO NOT contact me if you are not willing to get up before noon. This will probably be an all day shoot.
Samurai - Looking for people of asian decent. I want to do a theme with a group of people in the steriotypical white practice robes and in the center a woman in black leather/vinyl etc.
Ship wrecked - another beach shoot - Need a victorian style dress that you dont mind getting wet along with various props.
Glamour work - I want to do more maxim/playboy style shots. I want tanned girls comfortable with lingerie and implied nudity/nudity.
Cyber styles - I want girls with bright colored dreads and a good sense of industrial styles. I have a few graffiti'd up places around here I would love to shoot and and I want to blow up the color real bright with the hair
Cosplay - I ADORE anime but I am way too lazy to try and sew outfits =p More important things to do on my time! hehe. If you have any cosplay outfits..or even outfits let me know! I want to steal you >_>;
Visual Kei - Japanese street fashion! I want it! You know who you are that have the style.. I want to shoot you in your own style
Pinups - I am still learning hair so I would love to work with pinup girls who have their own vintage wardrobe and can do their own hair. I have some of my own clothing and props, but I want to bring more to it.
Ghost in Nursery- Learned some techniques I want to mess with. Looking for a girl with long blonde hair, skinny...younger looking. Also would need to find a room that could pass off as a child's nursery.
Amazon style shooting- I am looking to find someone with husky dogs (wolf sort of looking) and I want to have some tribal body painting done and do some amazon/wild themed photos.
Possibly all day shoot. I was hoping to get at least a couple people together.
Faerie Collage- I want to take photos of several different girls of different hair colors for a photo manipulation project. I want to resize the images and photoshop them into this location i have found which has a dog house and a lot of overgrown vines. I want to do something along the lines of the faeries poking at a dog. Having your own wings would be helpful.
Medieval shoot- In erdenheim pa (chestnuthill) there are a lot of castle style looking buildings.. old stone walls, etc. I am looking for girls with their own medieval outfits that would be interested in shooting at these locations.
Tribute to Pepsi Lime (anti coke ad =P)- Looking for a model with bikini body and green hair who doesnt mind getting a little wet/dirty. Need to have very animated personality
Stylist shoots- I am looking for girls who are comfortable with having their hair completely teased and twisted up (I know many people do not appreciate this because it is hard to get the knots out and do not want this) I am looking for fashion style models who are willing to be guinea pigs to hair teasing and crazy makeup.
Fine art - I am looking to do fine art nude photos of the female form. I want to show its curvature using different lighting techniques and flexible posing.<br>
