My name is Amy; I am a 21-year-old photographer living, working, and attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.
My style is best described as clean, creative, and commercial. I started taking pictures at 13, using the unique city of St. Augustine as my backdrop. I have found a new love for commercial photography; I hope to use Model Mayhem as an opportunity for networking and self-improvement. Critiques are welcomed!
I believe artistic direction can make a good photograph; I believe artistic direction combined with technical ability can produce a better photograph; I believe a perfect combination of the two is what makes a photograph great.
When working with models, I strongly believe an even mixture of input is necessary from the photographer and the model to create a better image. A photographer should be open to a model's opinions and ideas because the best photograph shouldn’t just be the best image in the photographer's eyes, but also in the model's. The best result of a photoshoot is getting even just one great image that the model and photographer mutually love looking at.
