I am one of only five MUAs chosen for the Craft and Skills Technical Scheme for the UK film industry, I also have the honour of being the first person chosen for Screen Yorkshire's new scheme called "The List". 

Hello my name is Sian and I am a fully insured and qualified freelance make up artist.  I have a passion for make up and am always looking for new challenges – I like my creative boundaries pushed.  I am also able to provide basic hair styling and have a comprehensive hair kit.

Brands that can be found in my kit include: Ben Nye, Kryolan, MAC, NARS, Mehron, Illamasqua, Graftobian, and Benefit among others.  I have an airbush system and can also provide SFX services including making and applying small prosthetic appliances.

Although home is currently set to Sheffield I live part time in Manchester so am available for bookings there, I will also travel for the right booking both UK and international.

I love working with a strong concept or theme for shoots but I am also looking to add some good beauty, bridal and fashion images to my book.

I don't do TF work now unless the concept is outstanding and will benefit my book, on the rare occasion that I do TF the models must be industry standard and preferably agency repped, photographers your work must be able to improve upon what is already in my book.  For tests and TF I will generally pay my own expenses but if long distance travel is required the offer of travel expenses would be very much appreciated.

I am happy to work on all types of assignments including those of an adult nature - It takes a LOT to shock or offend me.  Glamour or adult work whilst enjoyable is not suitable for my book so if you would like to work with me on this type of shoot please ask for my (reasonable) rates.

NB. Currently working on a short and immediately after I will be engaged on a feature film so I have very few dates available , please bear this in mind when setting up a shoot that you wish me to work on, as a consequence I will be doing very little TF.
