I learned photography on a view camera with one-shot negative sheet film. I spend a lot of time with lighting and posing before I ever hit the shutter button. Most of my exposures are visualized and discussed with the model in advance.

I pay top $ for models I hire, and expect quality work for the money I pay. If I book you, I will be there and expect models to be there - on time- and ready for the shoot. So long as both of us understand that an appointment for a shoot is a binding contract between us, then we can get on with the shoot without any legal consequences.
