I'm primarily interested in creating avant garde photographs and short fashion films with models who have an interesting look and who are committed to putting in the effort required to produce something beautiful. I'm not here to waste time, nor am I here to become friends or anything more with you.

I believe that the best work comes about as a result of a mutual understanding, and it informs my process for working with collaborators. What does working with me look like? I first strive to understand a bit about you and your goals, then describe ideas that I think align with who you are and what you want to achieve. This is usually accomplished by a phone call, but sometimes, if the geography permits, I meet with collaborators in person. I then scout locations, assemble all the right pieces together - model, makeup, hairstylist, wardrobe stylist, etc. and set a date for the shoot.

If I've contacted you, it's because I believe that you have something unique to add to my vision, and I expect that if you say "Yes, let's collaborate", that you honor your commitment. I do not pay models that I've connected with through MM, and I don't expect to be paid, as this is not why I'm seeking collaborators here. I shoot commercially, and this is my respite from having to bend to the whims of clients.

I've outlined my process and expectations above so that they're clear, and hope that you'll consider the very real fact that it takes a lot of work to create something good. If you're not willing to be considerate of that, and have a tendency to flake out, I'd rather you just not respond. If you are, I promise that we'll create work that we'll both be proud of.
