Yeah, I wanna burn stuff on the beach and take pictures of it. like a couch or a tv, or both. and i want you and a few other models to be there.
the low lighting conditions will make this a technically challenging shoot. but select pics in my port say all i need to about the painterly images this can produce.
the concept is evolving towards my models wearing traditional/ethnic and/or generic stereotype wardrobes, but i will work with what i have. halloween costumes can do the trick too.
ideas include a sari, kimono, arabwear, lingere, s&m, business man, hi-coutoure, soldier, french maid, monster, goth and rocker. you get the, um picture. the idea is to jumble all these images together in front of a burning symbol of mundaneness and see what turns out. maybe something mad, maybe something surreal, maybe somthing thatll get people thinking.
other than looking gorgeous, freaky or otherwise interesting with the wardrobe you bring, youll need to learn how to stand perfectly still once you strike a pose.
my ideal mix would be two white females (a brunette and blond), an african american or asian fem, and two men, white and african-american.
i will provide transportation from a location in nyc to the beach and back for all models. the shoot has already been cancelled due to weather so ill be rescheduling for the SPRING once the weather opens up.
as the shoot approaches models are encouraged to acquire objects to burn suitable for the shoot via dumpster diving or other lawful means; like a tv, couch, pink flamingo, meatloaf, football helmet?, statue of liberty?!
please message me with any props you can bring to burn, your general schedule starting in APRIL, and the wardrobe you have in mind.
this is for an art shoot with the intention of gallery display or contest entry, and i think an original addition to your port.
thanks!
