My name is Megan LaCore, and I'm a hair stylist in San Jose, CA. I am looking for hair models to use for a presentation, and I need people who are willing to noticeably change their overall style - cut and color.
I can't use people who aren't willing to lose any length at all. A trim or an inch isn't noticeable in photos, and I will be giving you a completely new color - fashion forward, a little edgy, not the same color and highlights you see walking out of every door of every salon in California.
The style will be custom to you, the color will be created with your features and skin tone in mind, and it will all be very beautiful. I won't do anything that you won't agree with, but you have to be pretty open to get a fresh, fun, and exciting new look.
Now here's where you come in...
I'm using this photo shoot as my visual aids for an audition with the company I educate for, Matrix. I won't be getting paid for it (though it could help me get a promotion in the long run *crosses fingers*) so I can't offer compensation, but you'll be getting services upwards of $200 for free, and I'll give you a copy of the photos from the set.
I'll be taking the photos myself, most likely, so they won't be professional necessarily, but I have a pretty good eye and take a nice artistic photo. We'll need a plain, no makeup and no styling before photo, I'll probably be taking a few in-progress shots, and we'll need to do a simple but highly stylized photo shoot as well. I'm hoping to do all the hair processes, cut, before and in progress shots one day, hopefully Saturday, and do the photo shoot within the next day or so, ideally Sunday or by the latest, next weekend.
I have to build my presentation from this photo shoot, so I'm looking forward to jump right into it. Please let me know if you're interested as soon as possible!
