There is a fashion party being held in london on March 1st - from 6pm - 11pm. The fashion show will be displaying a range of indian saris designed by a up and coming designer. http://sl2uk.com/content/offthewall.shtml - for more information. A hair stylist is needed to do the hair of 7 models. Hair styles need to match with traditional/eastern style sarees....the designer is willing for the stylist to do different hairstyles on all models, to show their wide range of talents to the public, as long as my models looks great.... This is not paid - but is ideal for promotion/experience/tfp. You will be given credit through the show - and great experience for any of you up and coming hair stylists or experienced stylists who fancy a new challenge. There will be a photographer taking photos of the show - backstage and on the catwalk which the will be given to the stylist if they want it for the folio...photographs will also be online so its great promo for everyone involved... if theres anything else you need to know let me know :) *************************************************** Designer's Profile - http://www.casipillai.com/ Casipillai Designer Collection was founded by Subee and Dhanan Nagendra. Their combined passion for sarees and striving business sense has enabled this business to grow from strength to strength. It all started when creative spark deep within has left designer, Subee Nagendra, to accomplish her true potential in fashion industry. She studied fashion for over five years and acquired her AVCE Fashion & Textiles and also Fashion Design Bachelor Hons degree in University College for the Creative Arts (London, United Kingdom). She produced her own collection for numerous of fashion shows including London Graduate Fashion Week sponsored by River Island, Alternative Arts Fashion Show sponsored by Swatch and also for Don’t Walk Charity Fashion show. Her true passion lies with saree designing which she has deep enthusiasm and creativeness for. She found her path in designing her own collection for her business which she named after her great-great-grandfather “Casipillai”, the most passionate lawyer who built a grand temple (Ariyalai Sri Sithi Vinayakar) and a school (Sri Paarvathy Vidyalayam) in Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
