A Manhattan based entertainment company seeks a creative multi faceted make-up artist/ stylist /costumer for IMMEDIATE hire to assist with various nightlife productions.
The position pays $100 per shift to start. Shift pay can be quickly increased based on work performance. The current available shift opening is on Saturday nights. The shift starts at 11:00pm and is over at 3:30am.
All make-up and supplies are provided for you. However, you must posses your own professional make-up brushes.
The primary requirements for this position are;
1. Creation of make-up design and application. Your design inspiration is theatrical but also glamorous with a trendy fashion sensibility. Experience with facial prosthetics a plus but not mandatory.
2. Assist with dressing the talent, which sometimes includes minor costume repair.
3. Experience with synthetic wig styling is a plus but not mandatory.
4. Upbeat personality, sense of humor, lotââ¬â¢s of energy and love for the nightlife lifestyle
This position and has a lot of potential for growth both creatively and financially. Itââ¬â¢s also a great way to gain production experience and help build a fabulous portfolio.
