INTRO:
Hi, I am a Mixed Media artist. I have worked with many different types mediums: acylic/ oil/ watercolor paintings, ceramics, printmaking, lithography, traditional/ digital photography, sculpture, pencil, inks, photo-manipulations, among other types of artwork! I just love to create, and mix new ideas. In the last 6 months I have been working on different projects including a 3 part Fine Art series: PHOTOGRAPHY - MIXED MEDIA ARTWORK - LIFE CASTING SCULPTURES. The series has a central theme of the human form, which is consitant in all the diferent expressed mediums. I prefer to work with a limited ammount of models -rather quality and trust then just shooting and shoot only for a specific purpose! I am known to be a lil picky- the character of a model is as important to me as their looks!
PART 1 AND 2 OF THE SERIES:

PHOTOGRAPHY -
All shoots are done in daytime - can shoot weekdays or weekends. Locations are in nature- really beautiful spots! The shoot is blk/wht nude in nature shots (some shots may be in color too.) Modeling is nude- but VERY taisteful! (Same as in my Photog. MM port! -MM# 35333) Model will be interacting with nature, interacting with the cam. - or interacting with objects in nature- such as old luggage trunks ect. If a model wants to their identity to reamin unknown that is totally possible because I am looking to shoot
many looking away, sleeping, face obsured shots. I try to balance the model and nature in the shots -which are focussing on the contrast between textures, shadows, lights and darks, spacial forms, neg. space, ect.
-From the SAME shoot I take some of the shots and use them as references for the second part of the series.
MIXED MEDIA ARTWORK -
As meantioned earlier I have worked with alot of different types of mediums - and really enjoy mixing them up and trying new things. I typically will be working with a certain type of media at the time of the shoot and that media plays some role in what type of artwork is made, but I also allow the individual shot "tell" me how to express the shot and model in art. I don't specifically say before hand what kind of art will be done- but let it just kinda move me - so it is always a surprise to both model and artist. A few examples are sketches, watercolor, ink washes, acrylic, photomanipulations, and other mixed media creations. - Just check the MM Artist port. for more examples! (MM# 637189).
-- Due to the fact that I am working on ALL 3 aspects of the series at basicly the same time along with other NON-Modeled Artwork -I do not have the time/ energy to shoot anything other then this series. Thanks anyway!
-- Based on the models I work with and develope an understanding with I will be choosing a few VERY LIMITED models to create sculptures of.
Life Casting Sculptures -
This aspect of the three part series will be LIMITED to just a few of the models who I have worked with and have developled some sense of trust with them. This is mostly because the set up cost of EACH INITIAL creation of the sculpture will cost ME- $300 dollar - just for the supplies. The sculptures will be EXACT replicas of the model! I'll explain more of this and the process at a future time.
I OFFER:
I typically offer atleast 12 edited pics - on private web page for model to preview. I understand that a model might rather not show one or two pics- because she just doesn't like that side of her face or whatever -personal preferences. In this case I don't mind letting the model see the shots first. I get them to you typically within ONE WEEK (often less then a week). Plus offer at least 3 different scans of the artwork -which takes a lil longer because it is ARTWORK! (I often give more then I offer and continue to send more artwork as it is created. -Sometimes even months or years later because I just decided to attempt something new with an old archived image from a shoot.) Please feel free to contact anyone who has worked with me -they will tell you this is the case! I require a signature on a model release and proof of ID. I do NOT work with models under 18!
