I had started the 3 part Fine Arts series but then had a lil tangent Fine Art project on the side that I was developing a process for. It is an Abstract Photography process that I just kinda figured out how to do - never seen it done before - I want to do something like a mix of body-scape images and finger prints - but of the body. The process creates an image of the texture and pattern of the human body. An example of it is the foot print which was one of the first test peices - you can see it in my Artist port. (MM# 637189) The process is realitively simple and time spent with the model would be short -like 10 minutes but due to the way it is created I would only be able to create one or two images per session with them model. So I'd prefer to work with models who are close by.
I am looking for 2 types of models:
1. Looking for models who are interested in having imprints taken from different body parts - looking for dynamic images that are created from an 8 by 10 area of the body. The more creative of a pattern the better.
2. I am looking for SCARS - of ANY and all kinds. I KNOW that many of you have them or that you have friends that have them... and I am interested in the stories behind them. I think that scars alter us.... but that they can be something that is defining and expressive in our lives. I am looking for dynamic patterns in the skin - such as your typical scars but also more dynamic sport scars, car accidents, burns, surgeries scars, bullet wounds, raised birth marks, ect.
