ITYWD Film Group invites all Dallas area actors and actresses between the ages of 13 and 60 to attend an open casting call for our upcoming feature length romance "I Thought You Were Dead". Interviews and auditions for CAST ONLY will be held this Friday, May 18th between the hours of 6pm and 10 pm at the following location:
HighPoint Center
12225 Greenville Ave. Suite #300
Dallas, TX 75243
We are seeking to fill several key roles in addition to the 20 or so bit parts that are currently vacant. Please bring a resume and headshot to the audition. The film's writer and director will both be present to review them and will ask, in addition, that you read selections from the film's script for them.
Principal Photography for this film is set to begin in the month of July.

Through this casting call, we are seeking to fill several key roles
in addition to the 20 or so bit parts that are currently vacant.
The following are the key roles we hope to fill:
KYLE DAWSON- (male lead) a 34 year old millionaire with a very
polished and neat appearance. He is a man who is on the debonair
side, but with a tendency towards goofiness, especially where the
object of his affection is concerned. Comparable to: an American
Jude Law.
KELLY MILLER- (female lead) a 33 year old woman with a coastal look
and relaxed demeanor. She is the kind of woman who is easily seen as
the girl voted most popular in high school. Comparable to: Cameron
Diaz, Kirsten Dunst, or Jennifer Aniston
PASTOR FARLEY- (major supporting role) a 50ish man who exudes wisdom
and caring, but with a touch of the dickens in him. He is paternal
in his demeanor, and his devotion to what he's been called to do is
complete. Comparable to: Jack Lemmon, William H Macy or Ed Harris.
AMBER FARLEY- (major supporting role) a girl in her early 30s who
has spent most of her life in a rural community. Her capacity for
caring equals that of her father. She is mature, down-to-earth, and
levelheaded who is nevertheless quick to love and allow herself to
be loved. Comparable to: Naomi Watts or an American Kate Blanchett
LISA MILLER- (major supporting role) older sister to Kelly, to whom
she has a strong motherly devotion. She would do anything to fix
whatever is broken in her younger sister's life. Comparable to: Joan
Cusack
MICHAEL- (supporting role) the man Kelly leaves at the altar. He is
suave, sophisticated, and wealthy. An actor with a solid Italian or
Spanish accent is needed for this role. Comparable to: Andy Garcia
or Antonio Banderas
Please note, we are also in need of younger actors as well to
portray the two lead characters as adolescents and teens. A boy and
girl between 12 and 15, and a boy and girl between 18 and 21 are
being sought for these scenes. Please bring a resume and headshot to
the audition. The film's writer and director will both be present to
review them and will ask, in addition, that you read selections from
the film's script for them.
Principal Photography for this film is set to begin in the month of
July and will wrap up before the end of August.
This is a low-budget, non union shoot, but actors will be paid a
daily rate and will receive meals and a DVD of the film.
