Here it is three years and one day since Hurricane Katrina came a calling and changed my entire life. 3 years and 1 day! I now have exactly 3 hours to get out of town before a mandatory curfew locks me in my trailer. Thats right I am still not back in my home but damn I'm so close I can taste it!
Now Hurricane Gustave is forcing me out again (Even though it is still in Cuba).
I am about to hitch up my trailer. (Not a FEMA I bought my own) and head to Picayune Mississippi where I will camp in my sisters yard.
Since I figure it will be at least a week before I return I, in an effort to stay busy and expand the Dragonfly Photography Empire LOL! will be shooting TF with whoever is interested.
Since the only thing I know about Picayune Mississippi is my sister lives there, I am hoping this will turn into an adventure of sorts. Scoping out new territory, a little B&E perhaps. Getting run off by some old timer with rock salt in his shotgun.
I know I'm a total romantic.
In about two hours I will be pulling out of New Orleans and one hour later (in a perfect world) i will be in Picayune.
Any and all are welcome, you will receive a cd or dvd with your photos before you leave.
