This fall, the Triangle will be home to a new vidcast series! From After Five Productions and in association with Eno River Media Productions (www.ermp.tv) comes "The Rejects" (www.MeetTheRejects.com), which follows along the lives of two young “heroes”, Moe Michaels and Peter Packer, and their heroically disabled friends of Hidden High School. Moe Michaels, with the power of slow-motion movement, and Peter Packer, with the power of blasting out packing peanuts from his hands, band together with their friends and teachers to overcome their not-so-great super powers and to defend themselves from their enemies. Production is slated to begin in early August. Casting will start at the end of June. We are currently casting for primary, supporting, and guest characters. Below is a list of our primary characters we are casting for: ALL AGES LISTED IS AS TO WHAT TO APPEAR TO LOOK LIKE MIKE – 15-16; ANY ETHNICITY, SMALLER FRAME – loud, outspoken, arrogant, immature, obnoxious, and bull-headed. EMMA – 17-18; CAUCASIAN, BLONDE, FIT BUILD – naïve, oblivious, social, and ditzy. MRS. CARLSON – 60’s-80’s; ANY ETHNICTY – sweet, caring, old-fashioned, and strict. PRINIPAL JONES – 50’s; CAUCASIAN OR AFRICAN-AMERICAN, BALD – loud, oblivious to the obvious, and loopy. KAT (same actress as SAM) – 16-18; ANY ETHNICITY—socially awkward, quirky, childish in mentality. SAM (same actress as KAT) – 16-18; ANY ETHNICITY—forceful, mean, flirtatious, overtly sensual, and cold. TONY – 15-16; ANY ETHNICITY, SMALLER FRAME – frantic, sporadic, immature, and dishonest. THOMAS – 17-18; ANY ETHNICITY—flamboyant, arrogant, snide, and flirtatious. ROBERT – 17-18; ANY ETHNICITY – rebellious, rude, prideful, and a trouble maker. MR. MCLAIN – 35+; ANY ETHNICITY– businessman, greedy, persuasive, cunning, coy, and elegant. British accent a plus. TIMMY – 15-17; ANY ETHNICITY, SLIGHTLY CHUBBY – quiet, pensive, unhappy, doesn’t fit in, and uncomfortable. 3 POSTEX GOONS – 22+; ANY ETHNICITY—thuggish, not too bright, and clumsy. JOHNNY – 17-19; CAUCASIAN, ATHLETIC BUILD – obvious leader, nice, arrogant, protective, sports-star, competitive and popular. SECONDARY SUPPORTING CHARACTERS ARE NOT LISTED.
