The Johns Hopkins University and Kappa Kappa Gamma Present:

"Hopkins Fashion Weekend"

This is the first annual chairty fashion show to be hosted at the university. We will be raising money for Reading is Fundamental. This non profit organization fights childhood illiteracy by providing funding, materials, and tools to elementary schools (both locally and nationally) to help kids learn to read. Aside from raising money for an excellent cause, the show will be a great way for designers and boutiques to showcase their clothing. Hopkins students love their fashion!

If you are a designer of any age looking to show off your work to college aged students. We want you.

Some quick notes:

NO FEES TO PARTICIPATE! We will encourage you to donate to the charity but there are no mandatory fees at this time.

NO NUDITY as this is a public event all models must be appropriately clothed. All outfits will be approved before being sent down the runway.

YOU'LL BE TAKEN CARE OF our goal is to meet each designers needs to the best of our ability and within reason. We will be providing refreshments. We will do our best to accomodate music and lighting.

OPPORTUNITY over all this will be a great advertising opportunity for designers. Hopkins is the number one employer in the state of Maryland. We have a large student body that is interested in fashion and has money to spend on it.
