We have an idea for a project that we intend to complete over the coming months with the intention producing a book of images towards the end of 2009.

The project outline is to show the beauty and diverseness of the human body and to show that there is actually no such thing as a ‘normal’ body. We are trying to illustrate that you do not have to be a ‘perfect 10’ to be beautiful and that in fact all bodies are beautiful in their uniqueness.

Males, females and Couples are all welcome to apply and there is no urgent time limit on replies except we do intend to finish this project by the end of Autumn 2009.

We are looking for people who are a minimum Size 12 dress size (for females) with no maximum size. Everyone must be above the age of 18, and everyone who applies must be comfortable with posing nude (but not full frontal).

These pictures will not be ‘glamour’ images. We do not want any pouting or even looking straight at the camera. Nudity will not be the main focus of the image, but the combination of the body in its natural state, blending with and complimenting its setting/backdrop.

The majority of the images will be outdoors but some will be arranged for a studio setting with specific props and themes, but we must stress that these images will not be boudoir style or glamour shots and they will not be remotely seedy.

In return for posing, each person will be provided with a 16x12 print mounted to fit a 20x16 frame and a CD with a small selection of images, although the shoot will include very deliberate posing of the models and not be rapid fire camera work and so the images will be very selective.

As we are seeking very natural looking people, we would prefer people who do not have obvious breast enhancements and in fact we are not even specifically looking for seasoned models. If you know anyone (male or female, any age) who is not a model, but would be interested in being involved with this project and creating a piece of artwork with us then please encourage them to contact us.

Unfortunately we cannot pay travel or any other expenses, but you will have a beautiful piece of artwork in return for your efforts.

My wife Jane and I will be teaming up for this project with Jane directing the shots and I will be doing the photography. Jane and I are very accustomed to working together and the people that we have worked with in the past have found the experience very relaxed and enjoyable.
