I have some ideas for a night shoot with a group of models.
Sort of magazinish.. Looking to shoot around Hay street mall (at night weeknight when city is empty)
down the terrace..
WEDNESDAY THE 11TH OF APRIL
start shooting around 6pm after corporate people have gone home.. doing some sunset in kings street and other laneways and alleys, and shooting into the night, making use of the city lights and street lights
I would like models to all be dressed themed.
Maybe glittery nightclub type tops?
IDEA ALSO to shoot models posed like manniquins in front of lit store window
I would like the girls to have heavy black eyeshadow.. if you know any makeup artists who would be interested then send them an email (tfp) otherwise just do your own HEAVY black eye makeup!
if you have dark silver eyemakeup (eyeshadow) then do heavy black lids with dark silver over the top.
either straighten your hair or do it wild and teased or something crazy
tight jeans or black pants
NO bright colors though.. I want it all blacks, silvers, golds, greys, sparkly or plain
I have googled to my hearts content but can not find anything like what I have in mind
Ideally I would like 5-10 models for this shoot.

ATTENTION MODELS WHO ARE COMING.
Hair needs to be prestraightend
we have 3 hair stylists coming but there will be no electricity for them to use so
HAIR MUST BE PRE STRAIGHTENED
(if you dont have a straightener please blowdry straight)
Please paint your nails dark, black, or metallic. (or silver/gold)
this is not compulsory but is prefferred.
HIGH HEELS ESSENTIAL
want your legs looking long and sexy!
CLOTHING
black fitted pants, preferably shiny OR
black mini skirt preferably shiny (or glittery) OR
dark fitted jeans
or leopard leggings OR
black shiny leggings
TOPS
black and shiny OR
silver shimmery OR
gold shimmery OR
*if* you have none of the above then dark metallic
YOU ALSO NEED TO BRING
your best pair of sunglasses
big shiny silver earrings (if you have them)
ie big silver hoops OR big silver round earrings OR big silver danglies
sportsgirl usually sell big silver cheap stuff
Big Earrings are preffered over necklaces.
Wear a big shiny ring if you have one.
as it is night time we want shiny stuff!!
PLEASE ALSO BRING
if you are unsure about your clothes bring a 2nd option.. a spare top that fits into the above descriptions and a spare bottom half.
BODY SHIMMER
if you have body shimmer bring it along and you can consult with the makeup artist where to put it (just chest usually but they will be able to tell you)
Please bring your own bobby pins.
the hair stylists will have some but I am worried they might under estimate how many they might need...

*if* you cant make it at 4.30 please do your best to get there as close to as possible.
I will have a 2nd photographer friend coming on the day so don't worry that we might end up with too many models as if that happens we can split the groups but I doubt that will happen.
its expected we will finish around 9.30 pm
I would like shooting to commence around 6pm..
there won't be as much 'waiting around' as you may think because with 3 hair stylists and 3 makeup artists thats 6 of you that can start being 'made up' immediately.. then the other 6 :)

Hey guys I have posted an add for a makeup artist (or 2) for the event, and also for a body painter
body paint will only be done for willing models so if you are interested but NOT interested in body paint still come, and if you ARE interested in body paint PLEASE let me know
ideas are to have a couple of models with a 'kiss style' star over the eye or cheek, and maybe some 'tattoo like arm stuff
