Views: 443 Begins on: Data added: Location: Casting for: Compensation: Details: Although this time of year is very busy for me in a professional capacity, I am going to try my best to start scheduling photoshoots again – no more than two a month. If I don’t get moving soon I will fall behind on documenting my costumes, so this better whip me into shape! Please read my profile for my policy when it comes to shooting themed work. Let me know if you are interested in a specific project! Thanks!
Aphrodite IX Costume Link: http://www.meaganvanburkleo.com/?p=115 Description: While I love the original shoot, I updated the costume and want to re-shoot it in a more appropriate setting. Also, I would love to try a look in a long dark gown with the green wig, as if Aphrodite is undercover. Photographer: TBA Makeup Artist: TBA Date: TBA FLCL Costume Link: http://www.meaganvanburkleo.com/?p=310 Additional Model: Ashley Hay Description: This is another costume we want to re-shoot after securing some props, such as the scooter from the series. Photographer: TBA Makeup Artist: TBA Date: TBA Super Mario Sisters Costume Link: http://www.meaganvanburkleo.com/?p=495#more-495 Additional Models: Ashley Hay and Stephanie Samens Description: We made our Mario costumes a bit flirtier since we last shot them. They are shorter and we wear fishnets and heals. We are thinking something pin-up feeling for this shoot. The makeup artist should know how to have fun with color! Photographer: TBA Makeup Artist: TBA Date: TBA Elektra Costume Link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/virtualgir … 732354862/ Additional Models: We could use a male model comfortable shirtless if interested! Description: Jeff Spain and I have been working on this shoot for a long time, but it kept falling through as far as dates. I need a MUA that has the ability to do beauty makeup as well as blood and simple flesh wounds. We want Elektra a little roughed up after this one! Photographer: Jeff Spain, Mayhem #36295 Makeup Artist: TBA Date: TBA Poison Ivy Costume Link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/virtualgir … 407628552/ Description: I would like to shoot this one relatively soon to take advantage of grass and flowers blooming. I am shooting to score a conservatory as a location. Photographer: TBA Makeup Artist: TBA Date: TBA Sydney Savage Costume Link: http://www.meaganvanburkleo.com/?p=543 Description: Unfortunately, all the other girls who are part of my Danger Girl group live in L.A. So it will just be me! I need someone good at styling hair as well as makeup for this shoot. We need BIG sixties hair. Photographer: TBA Makeup/Hair Artist: TBA Date: TBA Witchblade Costume Link: http://www.meaganvanburkleo.com/?p=345 Description: This costume is a bit of my baby so it might take some planning. Since I shot my last photos I updated the costume and added more armor. Ideally I would like to shoot two looks in one day. The first would be the main character in ripped up civilian clothing. The second would be her in her famous red dress. A makeup artist with some knowledge of blood and special effects is desired. Photographer: TBA Makeup/Hair Artist: TBA Date: TBA Soulfire Costume Link: http://www.meaganvanburkleo.com/?p=407 Description: I am currently working on redoing the wings for this costume and hope to be done by July-August. For this shoot I want to hit up some bluffs or cliffs at sunrise/sunset. Photographer: TBA Makeup/Hair Artist: TBA Date: TBA Elizabethan Lingerie Costume Link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/virtualgir … 872677423/ Description: This is an idea I have been working on with a team for some time, but it kept falling through. The concept is to have the model wearing a sexy Victorian costume and walking two big dogs with fluffy collars down the middle of an urban street. Bizarre…but fun! I already own the costume in blue. The makeup artist needs to be able to recreate a powdered face. Photographer: TBA Makeup Artist: Hair Artist: Adam Livermore, Mayhem #564382 Date: TBA Warrior Geisha Costume Link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/virtualgir … 0202568098 Description: The idea is simple enough. I want to shoot in a kimono with a bloody sword, loose hair, and a painted face. MUA must be able to replicate the look of a Geisha. Photographer: TBA Makeup/Hair Artist: TBA Date: TBA Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness/ Young Lara Croft / Movie Costume Link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/virtualgir … 436655477/ Description: So here is the deal with these costumes. Lara Croft is my favorite character ever and I have several of her costumes currently in the works. However, I don’t want to shoot them till they are perfect, which is taking forever. So I decided to whip up some of her simpler costumes to test out shooting as Lara and performing action poses. We could knock out all three of these looks in one day, in both urban and outdoor locations. It would be great if the MUA could replicate sweat and dirt via makeup. Basic skills with hair would be great as well. Photographer: TBA Makeup/Hair Artist: TBA Date: TBA
