Excuse the starting date as this will be an ongoing project.

I am looking for people to be involved in a series of photos exploring the darker side of life; those things we don't talk about in mainstream media.

PLEASE BE AWARE:
This series will not be for the light hearted. The issues explored will be dramatic, dark, awkward, sickening - such as youth suicide, prostitution-through-necessity, violence, drug use, living on the street, abuse, AIDS etc.
These shoots will not be for the shy of heart, but shyness may need to be conveyed in the theme... If that makes sense..

The reason for this project is an exhibition to be held early next year.
I can only offer TFP sorry, but it is not for financial gain anyway (ie the exhibition is all at my own expense). It has to be self financed from start to finish.

So remember this final aim when contacting me. I hope to be able to give a print of the final shots used to those involved (cost depending..!).

Regarding the Content:
I will be creating storyboards with each individual theme showing the stark reality of what some people live through every day.
So, to model for a shoot you will need to be able to act well; to get into the character and wear the pain or whatever is required on your face and in your body.
Every shoot will be a massive challenge for the model(s), the stylists and for myself.

I would be more than happy to work with people I have already worked with, but decided to do a Casting Call first to open it up to everyone. Please contact me if you'd like to work together again! x

I hope to get started on this ASAFP and continue over Winter before my travels in the second half of the year.

* Please, please, please provide days/dates you would be available to help coordinate things easier/quicker.
* Oh, on a side note; I do not wish to use any nudity in this series, as with any of my work. A couple of the themes, however, may require an element of implied nudity if you and I decide it would work for the theme. Please keep this in mind and let me know if you would or wouldn't be comfortable with this when you contact me.

All participants will be required to sign a release contract saying I'm free to use the images for the exhibition.
Due to the element of surprise, I don't want to give out the final images to those involved until after the exhibition opening. There should be other shots from each shoot you can use immediately for your portfolio though.
