Midlands Strobist is a growing group of enthusiast photographers with a wide skill level ranging from complete beginner through to professional photographers. We meet once every 6 weeks or so for a large group shoot which brings together as many as 40 photographers and 20+ models for quite a crazy day's shooting!

Models who attend the group shoots do on a TFCD (Time for CD) basis. They must be able to arrange their own wardrobe and makeup unless a MUA is advertised in advance. No transport costs are paid as everyone (Photogs and models) has to make their own way to the venue. However with people spread over quite a large area (Between Peterborough and Telford, as far north as Lincoln!) car sharing is quite common, so feel free to get in touch to see if it's possible to arrange a lift.

In a days shooting you can reasonably expect to work with 3 to 5 different setups and as many or more photographers which provides you with a fantastic opportunity to fill out your portfolio and make a lot of new contacts.
