<b>Kink Couture: Fetish in Vogue</b>

Kink Couture is a project of hard-hitting fetish photography captured in an artistic, high fashion style.
The images will include sadomasochistic scenes and depictions of specific fetishes, from the popular to the peculiar, but the emphasis will be artistic rather than explicit, with attention drawn to aesthetics and design, make-up, coordination and presentation.

Think the back section of Ann Summers, (but not made in china in icky plastics) accessorise it with expensive jewellery, designer threads, immaculate make-up and luscious locations then blend it with the type of advertising photography you get in the likes of Vogue magazine (preferably the European version!) and you’re part of the way there.

The end goal of this project is to create a coffee table photo book. And I also want the process of making the book to be an enjoyable escapade for all concerned.

As well as credit in the book, and something unique to put on your résumé, models, make-up artists and other contributors will receive a CD of images for use on their personal portfolios.

We are looking for models of all shapes, sizes and genders; but particularly models with a fashion look who have personal experience of fetish and/or have worked in fashion or fetish modelling. New models and those who haven’t explored the area won’t be ruled out as long as you are enthusiastic, adventurous and above all, reliable!

The only concrete requirement is that all models must be over 18 and comfortable with the nature of the project.

We need traditional fashion models, male models, adult models, alternative models, mature models, glamour models, swimwear models, editorial models and parts models!

We are also in dire need of good, reliable make-up artists. Hair stylists and wardrobe stylists would also be very welcome, along with anyone who can lend any clothes, props or accessories to the project.

Full nudity is not necessarily a requirement; there will be some fully clothed, topless and implied nude images. And equally the model’s face won’t be identifiable in every image, but almost all images will involve provocative posing.

The principle photographer for this project will be Rod Macdonald (http://www.modelmayhem.com/3216), who has written three books on photography of the nude, including the best-selling Erotique Digitale.

His work has been shown at the Seattle Erotic Art Festival, where he won the Best International Artist award in 2007, the Dirty Show in Detroit (2008, 2009), Leeds Erotica (2008), Coffee, Cake and Kink and Resistance Gallery (2008) in London, as well as in Cambridge and Norwich. He is also among the artists whose work is included in ‘Best Erotic Photography of 2009’, to be published in August by Erotic Signature.

This project will be taking place over the next few months.
