WANTED: Models, MUAs and stylists.

FOR: Pin-up style Lingerie Shoot with a Twist

The Shoot

As part of the Kink Couture project, pin-up style lingerie company, Stockings and Romance, have kindly offered to lend us some of their beautiful underwear for a shoot.

However, this is not a straight up lingerie shoot, so as well as some standard stock type images we will be adding a little high fashion kink into the mix. There will be bondage, restraints and similar such shiny things - not unlike the infamous Bettie Page, but a little more elegant.

Other themes have not yet been decided, so we would most certainly appreciate the input if you have any ideas that you think would work!

As well as credit in the book and anywhere the images are published, plus something unique to put on your résumé, models, make-up artists and other contributors will receive a CD of images for use on their personal portfolios.


The Models

Models must be:

female
18 - 24
Size 12/14 UK
27 - 30 waist
34C - 40D
no surgical enhancements
pin-up style look
any tattoos/piercings must be suitable or easily hidden

There may be some scope for slightly larger or slightly smaller models, but models must be curvy and well proportioned - 38-28-42 are the sort of measurements we're aiming for.

Models must be over 18 due to the nature of this shoot. There will be bondage involved and, needless to say, models must be comfortable wandering around in their smalls!

Preference will be given to models with a pin-up look who have personal experience of fetish and bondage and/or have worked in lingerie, fashion or fetish modelling. Working to topless, nude and higher levels is a plus. New models and those who haven’t explored these areas won’t be ruled out as long as you are enthusiastic, adventurous and above all, reliable!


Make-up Artists

MUAs must be able to do a range of styles, but particularly the wide-eyed, ruby-lipped, porcelain-skin pin-up style. Preferences will be given to those with good references and MUAs must be hard-working, enthusiastic and reliable.


The Studio

The studio is in Cambridge, 5 minutes from the railway station and the bus station. It is easily accessible from the A14 and has ample on street parking nearby.

Cambridge is 45 minutes from London King's Cross on the fast train, and the X5 bus makes it easily accessible from Oxford, Bedford and Milton Keynes.

It is not the biggest studio in the world, but we managed to accommodate a dozen models, three designers, two photographers and a couple of extras for the Gothic Lolita group shoot earlier this year, so as we're aiming for around half that we should be fine.

Unfortunately, we are unable to contribute towards travel expenses at this time, so this may suit more local models better.


The Photographer

The photographer for this shoot will be Rod Macdonald (Rod on here), who has written three books on photography of the nude, including the best-selling Erotique Digitale.


Please state your interest on the thread - including why you think you're the model for the job. "I'm interested" will not get you on the list!
