My extensive makeup experience lies in

for film, photography or the stage. I have a broad base of experience working with various special effects mediums and materials, as well as many different brands of fashion makeup. I have an extensive makeup kit which I bring to all shoots, but I'm also very versatile and resourceful, so can work with whatever I have in front of me.
I have a Visual and Fine art background which helps me greatly for both inspiration and technique - I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts, maj. painting at the Victorian College of the Arts. I feel that good makeup artistry can be included in the fine arts, just as photography, we are afterall living in the post-modern era... if you feel the same way, we should talk!!
I love gore, blood, guts, horror and the macabre. I have a passion for detail and realism, so if you want naturalism from your horror/gore/macabre shots, I'm your MUA.
Although I've had no official training in the makeup field, I have done my own research and experimentation which has delivered me a very individual style, and I'll continue to develop my skills for as long as I'm able. I know how skin works. I know how faces work. I know how models work. I know how cameras work. I know how makeup works.
I worked for Foundation HR Agency for 2 years, working for various makeup, beauty and perfume brands, including Davidoff, Rimmel, Revlon, SK-II and Remington.
I've worked in the performing arts for 5 years, including Witches In Britches Theatre Restaurant, and Dracula's Restaurant both in Melbourne, Australia, where I gained my experience for stage makeup.
I'm very hardworking and reliable but also very laid back and easy to get along with. I'm extremely passionate about makeup artistry, and would love to get experience wherever possible.
**I'm currently building up a folio, so any models or photographers in need of a makeup artist, I'm more than willing to do the work in exchange for prints.**
