Hi! I'm Daniel!

Well, I've been working on and off as a photographer since 1999 but have only started to focus seriously on it since 2006.

I enjoy working with models who want a broad range of pictures for their portfolio - that way we can both be as commercial and creative as we like. I am currently shooting portfolio work for local models at a very reasonable rate, largely because I'm only starting out in this area and do not have my own studio - so no over heads to speak of!

I can travel for work but my main mode of transport is a motorbike so I can't bring studio equipment too far out of the region. I do have an extensive digital set up which can be packed into a backpack though so never fear! I'm willing to travel anywhere, I like travelling but travel costs will need to be factored into the budget.

I tend to work with what the model wants; encouraging models to supply me with photos they have seen elsewhere and liked. I use these images as a springboard, a theme to riff around and guide the play.

I'm fairly informal, I have a dry sense of humour and like to keep things fun on a shoot - although that doesn't mean you won't be going home with aching muscles!

I am also pretty damn good at retouching. Have a look at my shots, pretty much all of them have been retouched but it is subtle enough on most of them not to be noticeable unless you've seen the 'before' image. I will take on retouch work for models who want their shots improved or photographers who are too lazy/inexperienced to do it themselves ) This service will never be free but I will not break the bank.

I am busy constructing my website at the moment and, while I have all the images I want pretty much sewn up, I am available for TFCD work if the model and the idea interests me - so don't be shy, get in touch!

Having said that, I am now trying to make money from this malarky so if you can offer some form of payment/bartering no matter how small then you will have my attention!
