MM’s Alloy Ash on the cover of Tattoo Life
Alloy Ash is on the cover of Tattoo Life magazine’s January issue. Alloy had a great 2012, scoring a number of major successes in print, online and even TV. Looking ahead to the new year suggests 2013 is going to be even better as she starts January with not just the Tattoo Life cover but also an upcoming feature in Bizarre magazine and the cover of a Bizarre’s special edition, “World’s Most Incredible Tattoos.”
Another cover and more features for MM’s Leticia Farr

Model Mayhem’s Leticia Farr never stops advancing when it comes to her modeling career. Over the last few months, Leticia Farr has become a regular face in our news roundups. Leticia made the cover of FXM Magazine again, this time in celebration of winter, and she is also featured in MMA Uncaged’s January 2013 issue that has a great interview with UFC fighter, Nik Fekete. Each month Leticia is featured in Ultimate MMA and MMA Uncaged magazines with lifestyle stories on “What’s Happening in Vegas” and key interviews with UFC/MMA Fighters.
MM’s Shannon Boothby scores a cover
Congratulations to Model Mayhem’s Shannon Boothby on her second appearance in the MM News Roundup for being published. This time, she is on the back cover of The Dead Timez Magazine. Cody Ringer, also known as MRXPhotography on Model Mayhem took the photo. In her profile, Shannon states that she is always looking for a new challenge. She loves what she does and is doing great! We wish her many more publications in 2013 and beyond!
Karlie Kloss is the top model for Vogue in 2012
This Fashionista.com article lists Karlie Kloss as Vogue’s number one model. The young, stunning beauty was first featured in the magazine back in 2009. Since then, she appeared in multiple features in the magazine, both in the USA and in the international editions. The issues in which Karlie was featured were among the highest-selling in 2012. She is definitely one of the top models. The other models that have made Vogue’s top 10 list include: Arizona Muse, Toni Garrn, Kati Nescher, Isabeli Fontana, Joan Smalls, Liu Wen, Aymeline Valade, Kendra Spears and tied for tenth place are Eniko Mihalik and Malgosia Bela. This leaves us wondering: who will make next year’s top 10 list?
Kate Upton is FOX411’s celebrity of the year
Famous swimsuit model Kate Upton is FOX411’s celebrity of the year. According to this Examiner article, Kate Upton has had quite the year since she entered the limelight when her YouTube video, “Cat Daddy”, where she dances in a bikini went viral. The video played a huge part in landing Kate some of the most coveted gigs in the modeling industry. First, she was on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Then, she landed the cover of GQ. And finally, she also landed two covers of Vogue proving to everyone that she is so much more than a blonde bombshell in a bikini. Additionally, although Victoria’s Secret rejected Kate as a model, their decision did not bother the blonde beauty, most likely because she continues to work with other big companies who are thrilled to have her as a model. We are sure that 2013 will be equally as good for Kate.
Model recovers after horrific 6-storey fall
We’ll wrap up with a terrible story that has a happy ending. According to this Daily Mail article, 25-year-old part-time model, Chantelle Serginson, has had a miraculous recovery after a terrible 6-storey fall. While she was at the hospital, some people, including her mother, feared that she was going to die but she turned out to be a lot tougher than they believed. Chantelle suffered a lot of injuries and medical experts told her that it would be at least 18 months before she could walk properly again. However, after about 7 months of extensive physiotherapy, Chantelle is able to walk with the aid of crutches. We wish her a speedy recovery and good health in the future!
Happy New Year from MM!
We’d also like to wish all of our members a successful 2013 and say thanks for being part of Model Mayhem.
