About Me

Greetings! My goal as a photographer is to simply highlight the natural beauty of the model or subject. I have found that the best smiles are the ones that are the least prepared, and true beauty exudes with the least amount of force.

I am active with A/R duties with a variety of artists, from musicians to models, and many folks in between. Artist advocacy is something that should be more common place, but too many folks are blinded by false expectations or misunderstandings. No matter what your artist pursuit, you HAVE TO WORK AT IT. The statistical odds of being 'chosen' are so far beyond the norm, it's foolish to think about it. If you are a model, makeup artist, photographer, musician, actor, or other artist, then what are you doing to make things happen? If you pause in answering, that's where I can help. I've helped models to be placed in publications and areas of visibility, with musicians being endorsed by gear companies or placed in strategic shows, of enabling health care professionals to reach new customers...yes, A/R is promotions and much more.

Since you are in THIS forum (i.e. visual arts oriented), know that the camera can help with many important things; it can help to empower the individual, and to encourage folks who may not otherwise looked at themselves in such a light. That can be profound, and is wonderful thing to watch unfold. But there is much more to it, and that's what I do...advocate for better things for people worth believing in, which is many. Models, musicians, actors, business professionals, etc....that's who I help, and that helps to make the making of art worth even more of the time.

Presently involved with the following:

-Freelance photography services (i.e. weddings, artist EPK development, advertising projects, web page images, etc.) for clients in a variety of industries.

-Performing casting duties and resourcing for photographers, businesses, artists, and other clients as required. Having now an extensive network of professionals in many different areas, I am able to help others with finding talent for their projects.

-Facilitating open casting calls for product spokes models for select music industry businesses and other related music industry clients.

-Providing model mentoring via the 3rd List Mentor in Modeling page on Model Mayhem, focusing on business advice regarding copyrights, usage rights, and other boring things that get lost in the mix of things.

-Photographing and networking of semi-professional and professional musicians for workshop and performance support.

-Providing a synergistic approach to TF shoots. TF Synergy is partnering with models on marketable images resulting from a TF shoot. If we can create an image that can sell, YOU as the model will share in the profits and success of that image. Terms are discussed prior to a shoot, but working together to promote and market quality images is beneficial to all parties involved.

My livelihood is centered on helping people in a proactive manner, and I apply the same solid work ethic to my art and those I create it with. Advancing in life means helping others to advance as well, and I am very proactive with that thought via my many different endeavors. I look forward to helping others develop their artistic expressions, while building my own experience and portfolio along the way.

Participating in the mentoring program here on Model Mayhem, with a focus on more business oriented issues (i.e. business plans, marketing plans, copyrights and usage rights, profile and networking development). I enjoy assisting fellow artists with becoming more empowered, and to help them make more informed decisions about their careers and the opportunities they are presented.
