A CHATTY PIECE ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Falling Rain and I'm a professional international model. Yes, I do have a real name. I was not the daughter of rockstars. . . luckily.

I am professional, mature, honest, optimistic, and reliable. I bring a sense of humour, I take direction well, and I'm confident and experienced at posing my face and body. I runway walk and pose naturally (it's weird). I LOVE to travel - give me a good excuse! One reason I love the modeling world and travel is that I am in my element in high-stress moments, when doing the impossible creatively and pushing limits. I won't panic if things don't go according to plan. I'll probably laugh, offer to call some contacts in my Rolodex or fix it with a hair clip, and get another coffee. I've worked as an event planner and PR person for large events that had last-minute extreme problems, and I enjoy that kind of high-pressure creative problem-solving and usually find it calming. If things go wrong I will be an asset, not a liability - and I won't panic, not even a little bit.

I run my own businesses, am in school for a very unique combination degree, have VERY diverse interests and many hobbies/career paths I'm interested in. We'll have lots to talk about! It also means that all my photographers, collaborators and clients know that I will always be extremely professional, have something unique to add, have enough diverse interests to be fast friends with anyone, bring my sense of humour and take myself seriously only when its helpful.

I understand the jobs of a photographer, agent/representative, publisher, graphic designer, business analylist, and PR rep, as I have had many side careers! I know how hard it will be to fix that hair in my face. I'll move it. I'm not here to shoot and leave, if you want to share I am truly interested in what you do, and how, and what we're trying to create and accomplish - you can be straight with me!

I do fashion & commercial, print & runway work - advertisements, shows, parts modeling (hands), beauty work, portfolio expansions for the right collaborators. I also have promotional modeling, hosting, portrait fine art modeling, acting and lecturing experience. My agent and I would love to hear any ideas you have.

RANDOM FACTS

*My hair is very long, thick, and easily styled. It's a hairdresser's Mecca.
*I'm British - if you have that sense of humour or a similar one, I will break it out.
*My best day on my UK modeling tour was when I back-to-back did a high fashion shoot, travelled across the country and saw Iron Maiden live in London at the O2!
*I literally love almost every music genre - this comes in handy pretty much constantly. Opera-metal-Bollywood-rap is not a strange combination for me.

I'm always looking for something weird and wonderful to do.
