About Me

Welcome to my profile.

First a quick bit about me. I've been shooting for just over ten years with a focus on people and portraits.  My inspiration tends to stem from classic Hollywood (thus the love for B&W), retro pin-up (Elvgren style), or comics (must do more CosPlay shoots).

I'm very much an "in the camera" shooter.  The most editing/retouching I do is simple clean up.  My job is to make you look good... while still looking like you.  Recently, I've started toying with FX and composite images.  Been doing pretty well too, but I have much yet to learn.

Photography is my hobby, but I take It very seriously and treat it like a business.  If we schedule a shoot, I will be on time.  If I say I will have photos to you by a certain date (usually within 4-6 weeks of our shoot), you will have them by said date.  If life gets in my way, I will advise you of the delay and how it will effect my deadline.

I am a TFDigital shooter.  I don't have the funds to pay models (usually) and I enjoy this too much to accept money in return.  I edit a few images from each set/look we shoot.  The final tally usually ends up in the 20+ area for a three hour shoot.

Three things to know about working with me:

1) Models get final say in all wardrobe choices.  I may make suggestions on items or outfits, but you're the one who'll be wearing it.  You know what will and won't work.
2) We're here to have fun.  I keep the shoot moving, but like to keep things light.  The best images happen when you're having fun.
3) You may bring a friend/escort with you.  They don't bother me at all.  All I ask is that they be someone you're comfortable modeling in front of (you'd be surprised how often models have overlooked that).

If you've read this far I thank you for you patience.  I look forward to shooting with you some day.

Themes I like to play with
Pin-up - The classic style where it was about the tease, not the reveal.
High Key Light - Fashion look without Fashion style
Low Key Shadows - A noir based study
Simple Beauty - Headshot series focused on expression
CosPlay - Fantasy or Heroes
Fitness - In studio portraits using light and shadow to show muscle tone, then outside action shots when the weather improves.

Reworking Series
Pink Bra PSA - A breast cancer awareness series
Pretty Panty Project - An exercise in silliness highlighting the eyeshattering designs of today's female underthings.
