Hi, Ok so Fashion and Media photography is what i do.
I am the photo Editor for The Edinburgh Journal newspaper and have another 2 years media experiance working for The Skinny magazine.
My aims with Fashion and Portraiture:
The contrasts of life and nature.
The ideas behind the face or a person.
I aim to produce fresh and professional images
Create a good professional rapport.
One of the most important things is a good working rapport between model and photographer. I am always professional about what i do but also take a light hearted tone, a few breaks throughout the session, a bit of chat. If everyone in the image process is relaxed then better images are produced.
I like to take the MUA and Models ideas and incorporate them into the shoot, which helps keep images fresh. I also like including ideas into my fashion work aswell as the clothes or the model, images work best when the viewer can obtain something from the image.

Organising a rain shoot does sound difficult! Do you live in Edinburgh? Perhaps we could meet for coffee and discuss ideas. Then it might be easier to randomly call me when you're not busy with an "It's raining! Let's shoot right now!" at some point. :-)
