I've had several of my models become "happy". The effect was varied from model to model. The important thing is to remain professional and make sure everyone is comfortable. I am very close with several of my models and more than one wished to incorporate it into their shoot as it was extremely obvious. Again, it's completely dependent on the comfort level. Some realize it's natural, others become uncomfortable for various reasons. I've had to stop a shoot only once because of it. On either side of the lens, it's nothing to be embarrassed about. What we do is stimulating and it's meant to be that way. It's a sign that the desired effect of the photos is being realized.

It's been six years and there are still men in this thread who don't understand how a vagina works. It's just sad.

many people have wettish eyes condition by no reason. as for the topic of WW, I heard that saying the WW words relaxes your face muscles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gu3soi3srbo some people think the WW syndrome started WW-I and WW-II (don't confuse with www = world-wide web). And I really hope WWs in the Middle East can help to prevent WWW-III (Third World War).

I had a photographer 'tell me' I was apparently turned on during a spanking shoot. I was not. I know when I'm aroused, and I very much wasn't. Twice, in maybe 600+ shoots, I've been slightly turned on during two girl/girl shoots, but other than that... NO!

Okay, gentleman, let's break this down for you in little words so you can understand it. You have balls. Balls are technically genitals. Sometimes it's hot and your balls drop lower and swing more freely. This is an attempt by the body (that wonderful machine) to let air circulate and cool the genitals- because if your balls get too hot, they are A) uncomfortable and B) less efficient at producing sperm. Sometimes, your balls get tight and draw up. This can be caused by several factors (as can the opposite effect mention above). Those reasons could be A) impending ejaculation, arousal and excitement B) colder temperatures, body is attempting to get sperm factory warm C) fear, pain or other discomfort. Women's bodies work in similar ways. It does not mean we are turned on. Just like a hard on doesn't always mean sex, wetness of the vaginal region or unfurling of the labia or shrinking of the labia does not always mean sex. Sometimes there's just a draft and our bodies are wanting to keep things from drying out like the Sahara. Your eyes and nose do the same thing. Step outside when it's super hot and dry- your eyes will tear up and produce lubrication to protect sensitive tissue. Step outside when it's cold and dry and uncomfortable, your nose will run, to protect sensitive tissue. BASIC BIOLOGY. So short answer: 90% of the time- the model has no interest in fucking you, nor does her vagina. It's just doing the normal vagina thing.

I had a photographer point out my wet bits and he was all like "So yeah, you did enjoy yourself, huh". Considering we shot erotic content, that was awkward. I was not aroused, this is just how my vagina works. Ugh.

However, it tends to be a sensitive subject with most women, unfortunately.

It's just doing the normal vagina thing. +1 Wetness in the genital area does not always equate to arousal. Women can have discharge due to a body cleaning itself, due to the vaginal area attempting to maintain its pH level, when a woman hits certain points in her cycle, etc. The presence of vaginal fluid as lubrication is but one of many possibilities. There is always the chance a model can become "happy" at a shoot. We're all human, and humans can be very sexual beings. It's not impossible then for a model, as a human, to feel sexual... but unless that model has vocalized to you very clearly that she is "happy," don't assume... and even if she is genuinely "happy," it doesn't mean she wants any other person save herself being a part of that "happy."

Yet, I've seen plenty of models get turned on simply by the situation, which had nothing to do with me. A few have even had to excuse themselves for a few minutes. Again, not because of me but simply because of the situation. very very true it happens all the time when im shooting...............W

I prefer models get happy when looking at the results of our shooting. As for all that physiology, physical responses and other talk, ewwww I thought this was a professional photography web site, not Dear Penthouse.
