I pick the subject matter and you post your photos. Throughout the day other thread posters will reply to the shot they like the best with the word "VOTE." The next morning I will count the votes and declare a winner. Pretty simple stuff right? So let's see how this goes.

Todays topic: NATURAL LIGHT(see below)

I encourage all models, photographers, MUA, Stylists, etc to participate!!

Explanation: Post any photo that features NATURAL LIGHT in the shot. Pretty simple concept here....no studio lights, no flashlights, not artificial light sources....just NATURAL LIGHT....show us your best shot and lets have fun with this for a day! Anything that photo that features something shot in natural light qualifies. Let the contest begin!

(Remember to use a link if it is an 18+ image and note that it is 18+ so the moderators don't blow this up and lock it down).

ONE ENTRY PER DAY, ONE VOTE PER PERSON PER DAY....IF YOU SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE PHOTO YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!!! This means NO COLLAGES or split images!! Voting always ends at midnight.....I accept votes from all U.S. time zones by midnight. Winner receives Concept Shot of the Day Contest Medallion Logo if interested. Remember when you vote to quote the posting of the photo or link you like best and simply type VOTE!

Hi Pfangle,

Natural light means shot using natural light (i.e., the sun or whatever lighting exists at the spot). It looks like you used a flash unit (on camera most likely), which means the image was not shot with natural light.

It is a great image, BTW, it just doesn't fit the competition criteria.

It means the light source falling on the model is artificial light. It's either on camera flash or some other artificial source. The subject is back lit with the sunset meaning her front side should be dark unless a reflector is used. If a reflector were used, the light would be much warmer as the background light is and it wouldn't be spilling on to the bushes.
