I posted this a few minutes ago in another thread, but thought it could use a thread of its own.

It's a list of facial expressions I compiled a little over a year ago, and it has come in handy on shoots.

Feel free to add more to the list:

I have my list of emotions taped to the wall next to the shooting area in my apartment.  It's funny when people who are not involved with modeling/photography come over and start asking questions about the list.
Anyway, I only did a very quick/cursory scan of yours, but I think I noticed that a bunch of mine are not on your list (including some really basic ones - like "happy" and "sad".)

I'll try to post mine this evening.

Edit:  Also, I think this thread belongs in General Industry.  It's really a useful resource and a great idea for photographers and models alike.  (I often encourage models to take my list and practice the faces in front of a mirror, until they are satisfied with at least one "look" for each emotion)

Do you think we could post examples with the expressions (good examples, that is...) on this thread?

I think it would be really helpful when girls are trying to go outside the box to see others who have done it well.

Yes, I went down the list and it was great, and then that last one stumped me. I've never tried it, so I really don't know how to invoke it.
