I always hated the pantyhose more than the slips, though both would make you sweat a lot in the summer.

It feels HORRIBLE to get sweaty legs while wearing pantyhose.

I never got what the slip was for, except to make me sweat, and not like wearing dresses.

Were slips outdated by the 80s and 90s? Do people even still wear them? Am I the only younger woman who recalls having to wear a slip?

I had to wear slips as a kid.  Not sure when I wore one last, but I'm guessing some time in earlier elementary school.

I wear tights sometimes, especially if I need to camouflage my leg tattoos.  I also have a tendency to wear thigh-high stockings, since I think they're comfortable.  But, I don't remember the last time I wore actual pantyhose.
