When I went hiking through part of the Amazon Rain Forest in SE Peru for three weeks photographing critters, I spent one of my last days in Peru taking a one day tour of Lima.  Disgusting and very sad.  Seeing that poverty was intense!  I feel pretty lucky to live where I do...which happens to be Indian Rocks Beach...just finished moving here on Sunday.

Erm.....
Telling me you are coming to Fla for Spring Break and want to shoot, knowing I live in Tampa
DOES NOT MEAN telling me they are free to shoot this weekend and telling me they are in the Redneck Riviera known as Panama City Beach.....

Seriously, that is not Florida, that is South Alabama

I wish Alabama would claim that part of Fla

Way too much fabric on those suits.  The club wear might have a chance but most of it is one size fits most which translates to a size 2-8 realm...not the size 0 or 00 I try to work with.  Good to book mark though and check back every now and then.

Anyone know a guy or a place locally that can replace speakers on a laptop?

Toshiba laptop if that matters

Yesterday evening, while roaming the back yard (beach) with the kids, I found a shark tooth.  smile
With enough time I can find one on just about every outing.

if it is just one speaker then you are likely correct that it is a speaker problem.  If you are getting no sound at all then it could be the software drivers or the sound card.  A lot of times the sound card is built into the motherboard on laptops which means the replacing of the entire motherboard...or the purchase of a new laptop if it's a cheap one.  Good luck!

They were both working then one started sounding real tinney then quit
Then the other did the same

Occasionally I can hear screaching from one of them
I'm relatively sure they just blew out the speakers

Not 1000%
But relatively sure

I have a shoot on the beach today actually..and yep...in the water(Model drove all the way down from her spring break in Destin just to shoot this idea that involves my style, her idea..at sunset)

Conditions are supposed to be perfect(wind coming from land, which means no blowing hair in face),the gulf supposed to be glass...

Well...the Gulf being 65 degrees is actually going to be an issue yikes

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! smile No more than to your knees I would imagine.  You just need to shoot with a longer lens and be within 30' of her so the speed lights or strobes hit her well enough I would think.  Your feet, ankles, shins and knees will be just fine.  I have faith in ya!  Just don't catch a wave that splashes up around the groin or you will be in for a BIG surprise.  LOL

As for the speaker deal...
$85 to send it off
$150 to repair it
3-6 weeks

I bought a pair of USB powered external speakers for $9.95
