Apr 24 11 08:28 pm Link Thank you Drew and Karl for hosting this amazing event. It was "off the hook". The models were all very beautiful, knew how to pose and were friendly and easy to work with. The fellow photographers were all way cool too. I would have thought it impossible for a shoot to have so many photographers without some people stepping on each other's toes. That was not the case at all. All the photographers were very respectful and accommodating towards one another during the group shoots and very respectful of giving space to photogs who booked one one one. You guys run a great event! I came home with a ton of photos that I really like. They will take some time to sort thru. I have not seen any of Carolina Rusco posted here so here is a quick, unedited (other than label) photo of Carolina, with better ones coming of her and the other models. I hope the link to the photo works. Thanks again to you and the models. Apr 25 11 07:59 am Link I have to ask my friends from Drew and Karl's workshop. My Photobucket Images recently are looking like crap when I link them to the forum thread. What I am doing wrong? I signed up for Photobucket for year so I could use their simple [img]upload feature for use in the body of emails and or forums. It seems Photobucket really screws with my images - it degrades the resolution and really downsizes the file size. I make almost everything around a 300K - 400k plus size files and if you try to download one of my images from the thread they are only 200k and they come out all distorted. I use Nikon RAW images in Camera RAW and then bring them into photoshop CS-5. I use the ready for Web feature and make them into a nice size JPEG. They look great on my hard drive and sending them VIA e-mail they are nice and clear and retain their original size. I am embarrassed to put any more up on the forum... Until I figure this out. I also have a Zenfolio site and here is my first attempt to link an image from Zenfolio. If anybody has an idea what I am doing wrong with my Photobucket links... Any information would be much appreciated... I am pulling my hair out! Gary Apr 25 11 08:51 am Link Gary, I think there are a couple of different kinds of accounts you can have on Photobucket. Get the best account. I believe if you get anything less than that they limit the size of the file you can upload and upload to another site. When a site limits the size and re-sizes your image for you, as you said, it can screw up your image. Apr 25 11 10:29 am Link Trish and the Little Black Dress, whew! Thank you Trish for finding me making me your last shoot of the day. Apr 25 11 10:30 am Link Alas.....one of the few pics of Celeste I have that I could actually post on the thread! I don't use Photobucket because they think if themselves as the "morality police." I had color management problems with Shutterfly for web posting until a friend told me to use sRGBIEC61966-2.1 profile which gave web images good color. This is the Profile recommended for posting web images. You can easily convert to this Profile in Photoshop under Edit->Profile Preferences.
