I went to New Orleans a while back and a street artist sketched a portrait of myself. I am still livid how big she made my nose. My mom always told me my nose wasn't THAT big...for a Sicilian.

But there it was for like 10 people to see. My big Karl Malden/Jimmy Durante nose.

Hmm, maybe I should send the artist a cease & desist. Or make arrangements for her to reduce the size of my schnoz.

Bottom line: I actually DO have a big nose so...

Edit: I just visited the site and love it. I think every aspiring model should have their portfolio submitted and captioned. Isn't this what it's all about? Posting images, opening ourselves up for critique? C'mon, these are extremely funny and they're the same type of images we rail in threads everyday on here.

I can't wait to see some 'angel wing' captions.

Funny stuff.
Lighten up.

This is the age of the interwebz: A great thing ... with its own quirky traits.

If you are an artist of any kind ... must grow balls.
Not every one is going to go googooladygaagaa over your efforts.

Must say, some of that stuff on there are pretty damn funny.

Is that why your port has 15 pages of jaw dropping perfection?

Woo HOO!  I made it in!  Oddly enough, it was my most viewed, most commented and most listed image.  So I'm almost certain that most here understand art, and more out there don't.

I think this falls under the old adage;

At least the person running that tumblr has a sense of humour.

Unlike the stupid owner of fuckyeahbadmodeling.tumblr.com who seems to be under the impression that she is giving out helpful advice (despite not having any experience in the industry at all).

Anyone can be a model, and anyone can be a nodel. I think the real secret lies in the incredible notographers.

Um hello, it clearly wasn't funny or clever.

And I agree that being called a burrito is a compliment. I had Chipotle earlier and it was delicious!

If you are on the site, contact the photographer who took the images and have him ask the site owner to remove the images and file a DMCA copyright violation complaint with the company that is hosting the site.  While this does not seem to immediately get results these days, if enough people do it, the site will be shut down.

Exactly. Also note the "terms and conditions" that anyone submitting to that site must accept:

Virtually everyone posting to that site is in violation of the first paragraph. The second paragraph is a rights grab by the owners of the site. This isn't funny if you are serious about protecting your rights and your images.

OP:  You can't take it too seriously.  We're out in the public eye; anyone can critique...even if it seems a little mean-spirited.  Nothing to be done about it.

Highjack:

I gotta admit, I was surprised how many photos on there were good...kinda like those posting to the site didn't understand the actual intent of some of the photogs.  Strange.  Like the photog self portrait of the photog climbing the wall with dogs below him.  It's a great photo.  (EDIT: I removed the link).

THIS THREAD IS STILL GOING?!?

If it is can people please post ALL of the "nodel" like links in a post, pweeaase? I'll save them for a rainy day, or a night when I have insomnia! I have insomnia every night, so I guess the more links the merrier. I enjoy funny shizznits.
