Wow, I'm impressed. Makes alot of sense that people with strokes, amputees would learn to do this.

BTW, your post already is indexed in Google. Damn, that was fast!

As I said earlier, it has NOTHING to do with the fact that you two had familiarity, and consent. It has to do with the fact that you are using this ONE situation, as a justification for ALL situations should they occur. Again, this is NOT a normal occurrence and is the exception, not the rule. And the fact that you are pretending it is normal is what is creeping people out.

Just because one model said it's ok, does not actually make it ok in general practice. And bringing it up as if it's as normal as breathing is even more off putting.

Even my photographer friends I work with don't touch me inappropriately. Hell, Iris is constantly honking my boobs and grabbing my ass when we are out in public and goofing around. When Iris and I shoot with each other she NEVER touches me. If she wants me to change a pose she directs me.

The photographers that have touched me always asked first and it is usually to move hair, fingers, arms etc. I can't even think of a situation where you have to move a boob to improve a shot.

The only single person I can think of that gets away with touching their models is Collin. But touching is his subject matter. It's not like you can walk into a shoot with Collin and actually be shocked when he asks to touch your feet for a photo.

I have no idea who you're talking about. big_smile

But yes, that was my general point. One particular model that he is familiar with, does not define a general acceptable practice. And the one model he was uncomfortable touching is NOT the odd situation. It is the normal one. But he doesn't want to hear this because in his mind it's ok because they were friends. And when the practice of touching boobs because he's getting paid bites him in the ass, he's going to wonder what went wrong and think the model must have been a crazy bitch. He'll never learn.

I never said that you said what you just said you didn't say.

The fact that, once again, you have repeated something for God knows how many times over the past 10 hours, and it had nothing to do with my post, kind of lends credence to my point that you are trolling and just keep posting to get responses.

For real. If your husband was my husband... my husband would be kiiccckking some creeps ass. Also I would of smacked the shit out of that guy or smacked his 1000 dollar camera to the ground and made sure you would never work with another model again in his life time.

Yes, this is WONDERFUL advice and not irrational or emotional at all.

He grabs some tit, you assault him, destroy his property, maybe a little battery for good measure.

Yes, this is the advice we should be giving new models. Don't be mature and professional, just kick some ass. Because that's what we do in America, give a big middle finger to the law. Why? Because FUCK YOU!!! That's why!

Yes, great advice indeed.

You know what, screw all that! Let's just bring a gun to the shoot and shoot any one who touches us without our permission. Because that's the only why they're going to learn, right? I mean, HE TOUCHED YOUR BOOB!!!! He deserves to DIE!!!! Why not grind his genitals in a meat grinder, that's fair right? Maybe we smash them in a vice? And then run over his camera with your car. And for the Coup de Grace, torch his house and gang bang his wife.

No, best advice, is to get up, point out why he was wrong, and leave. Reporting it to an authority is at the model's discretion, but encouraged.

Wanton destruction and violence? Not so much.

That's good and fine, but reading your previous reply, you have already come to the white knight conclusion. That's why it's not good to put the man's name out there unless it's something that can be both proved and other things that the model shouldn't have done. Stayed an additional 45 minutes is one of them. That's damn near an hour just to get some images out of this.

I'm like this, if I'm innocent and some model comes on slandering my name on a website and some people come at me because they believe what is being said, they will feel me. And I don't mean feeling a titty. Bottom line, don't be a damn fool and let your emotions get pushed into over drive thinking that you're doing some good deed without all the details/facts.

Since I'm a newb (to the site, mildly experienced with the photographing and such) Why aren't you allowed to like out people for shady business stuff. If I dicked a model over I think it's only fair that said model warn the rest of y'all

Sometimes it isn't necessary because the photographers do it themselves . . . .

Wow... late here after 5 pages but can't believe this.

Now the definition of sexual assault is (at least per the California Penal Code):

"Carnal knowledge of a man/woman without her consent"

1) you were not consenting to him touching your breasts

2) He had carnal knowledge of you

Pretty straightforwards and clear: It was a sexual assault.

By the above definition, incapacitation of someone means they can't give consent (i.e drunk etc...) or if they are minor.

Carnal Knowledge wouldn't be simple touching.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnal_knowledge.    I'm surprised that CA would
use this term still but simple touching isn't sexual assault.   It could
be sexual abuse.   The difference between a felony charge and a misdemeanor.
Doubtful much would happen though because it would be hard to prove.
No pun intended.

I am not sure, that thought did not cross my mind.

But now I can say that it is. I am not sure if I would want to go to those lengths because I am not sure exactly how that works and the photographer is located 6 hours from my present location. So I am really not sure it would be worth my time.

so you are just going to sit back and allow him to carry on doing this to other people?

either it happened and you do something about it, or it didnt happen simple as.

people need to get a spine when it comes to this kind of thing, it makes us all look bad when pervs get away with doing what they love most, over and over again.

No one knows anymore.   But in a nuttyshell...........

The OP was about a model who had some photographer touch her breast, and she got so upset it took her  45 minutes to decide to leave.  Her hubby wanted to leave immediately, but he wasn't sure if the wife gave permission for photographer to feel her up.

Next came a photographer who said he didn't like to touch breasts, but since he was asked to adjust them he would because he did what paying customers asked.

So this is a 2 part story.....

That about covers it, and page 12 is coming soon, I guess.  lol

Roger that. Most photogs are too afraid of women and cops to hire an escort. Another reason why sex should be lawful, to reduce rapes.

Probably money involved, so she tolerated it.

99% of Amerikans would do exactly the same thing.
