This being a D&K shoot is a very good selling pitch in itself...then add Corissa and Kim as confirmed models a month ahead of the shoot?! I'm even more sold!!! Can't wait for the rest of the model line up...full payment sent!!!

So TRUE!!

Have Fun Everyone!!  This is a really Great place to shoot, too bad I can't make it, I always wanted to shoot with Corrisa  sad

If you never have shot at a really nice location with HOT models, this will be your chance.

When Drew and Karl 1st had their workshop at this location, I wasn't interested, till another photographer friend talked me to going, cause this location has to be experienced I was told.  It also helped that there were a couple of models I wanted to work with wink

Don't think cause a lot of people shoot at this location that U will have the same stuff as others.  I went with the thinking I wasn't going to shoot the normal scene everyone shoots, the fountain and pool.  Not to say it's bad, but I'm always different, like when I was young and had to get custom rims for my car.

Let's just say there are a lot of different scenes to shoot here and how U shoot it will make it different, crop & angles..   The mix of Sun and Shade make this place Perfect!!  and the Models that Drew and Karl have are Top Notch!!!

Hi Drew and Karl:

I know you guys are working on the model line up for this shoot. May I make a couple of suggestions? How about Brooke Erickson MM #1272222, and Audrey Nicole MM #878112 ? These two babes are uber-hot, and it's time to bring in some new talent.

I shot here last Sunday and scheduled 14 models along with 2 assistants. WOW! All 14 of them showed up. LOL. I was expecting half of them flake or get lost but NO. We shot from 10am to 6pm. We owned the whole place by ourselves. We set up 4-5 stations. Rotated the models. Great shoot! I could've used a couple more assistants.

Now if Mike Quan does not spend too much time shooting the out of state models, he could make a good assistant. He just stares and drools when he sees hot women. He also did some funky poses that Mike Chow will post later on. Here is a shot of my assistants that day.

I love how the little doggy was looking at us shooting.  Oscar was probably saying "Why is Mike making her do that?"  Also I matured a bit.  Notice no white socks in black running sandals.

It was more that she is a pig farmer/model that I was interested in.  She's one of the coolest person I met.

It's not like the other models were not naked for you guys.

Make sure you have lighting so you shoot on your own. Make sure your images are up to par because you will be working under me. Sometimes I will just send a model or 2 your way to test them for me. Some people thinks that's messed up. How? Everyone benefits from the shoot.

yeah and maybe some spare units too.  I had an E640 with a 64" PLM on a stand with 15lbs of counter weight and a mini vaga.  It blew down and the pyrex dome broke, the E640 and the PLM was ok.  I kept shooting with the bare bulb unit.  Later it blew down again, but the PLM didn't survive; the PLM got torqued.  I order replacements parts for everything.

So now I'll be shooting bare and with a bent shaft for a while.

That's why you don't use PLM outdoors. I'm sure Rich Masuda can attest to that. He was holding my 3' Octodome and almost flew away in the desert. lol

Yeah I might be switching back to a beauty dish with a vaga II for outdoors.  I'm gonna miss doing three light setups sad

I have a spare dome if you want to use it. I took it off when I sent in my Einstein v2 (pre-finger fix) for a replacement because they told me to. When they sent me back the replacement Einstein, they gave me another dome. So I've got an extra. I'll bring it with me to the shoot on Saturday.
