Has anyone heard anything (good or bad) about this Company? I was contacted by them, and you have to pay $180 to be put on their website for a year. And if the job is over 500 miles away (round trip) they pay for traveling. 60% of the jobs would be near me.. and the other 40% would be elsewhere. They make 20% of what I make for each job.

That is their website.

What do you guys think?? Please MESSAGE me about it.

Their music scared my dog.  I should always remember to turn off my speakers.

Seriously, do you know that it was really they that contacted you?  Or was it some freelance with a Yahoo email address.

Without even looking at their site, I can almost assure you it is a scam.

You are 5'8". There isn't a legit modeling agency in the country that would sign you, no matter how good looking you are. You are too short for mainstream commercial male modeling, period.

They are just trolling for anyone they can find to pay them $180 a year. They'll probably try to con you for other fees as well. The chance that they will actually be able to book you for a legitimate commercial modeling job is almost zero.

I would not waste my money on them.

No legit agency is going to have you pay them to be put on their website.

They list their business address as a PO Box in Louisville KY. That should be a major warning. A legit company will at least have a street address and an actual office.

They are based in Louisville KY. We all know how Louisville KY is a hot bed for male models. I doubt many male modeling jobs say in Denver, LA or NY will be going through an "agency" in Louisville.

Also, after looking  at the models they have on their website, I would say anyone who has the money gets on the site.

I think you're so desperate to be signed that you'll pay for it.

And that's what those kinds of companies prey on.

Not being mean, just blunt. smile

Oh yeah, and if you want to model for Abercrombie & Fitch, Express, American Eagle, and Buckle, you'll need to learn retail because that's what you'll be...a glorified retail worker. wink

Like this guys is the top guy to ask about modeling. Models can be found anywhere. Having a PO Box as a mailing address is not wrong. From seeing your work i know why you use models off here to get6 pics and sell them.

QFM.

You might consider knocking off the unsolicited critiques, kid.

I know this company and they are very legit. Any people who think paying for a modeling product is wrong is full of it. It is not legal to pay to have them find you work but it is legal for you to pay for products like sites, pics and comp cards. MM is not the best site to be claiming scam when alot of the people here are fake porn companies or photographers who take your pics and sell them. I would not listen to much what fools say on here but i would listen to someone who can say these people help you get work. FYI 5/8 is not bad for print work.

If you despise the place so much, why are you here?
