Yes. I like the soft, light makeup artistry you've shown in this image. Dark lashes, bit of blush, and pretty lips. I would like to see maybe a bit more color on the eyes though.

thank you!

Yes. This image shows off your facial features well and I love the movement in your hair. The makeup looks great on you and the pose shows off your face, chin and a graceful long neck. Nice basic shirt and I like the background- perfect amount of blurring. Also, the expression looks quite good- relaxed, confident.

Yes! I love this blue color scheme - Beautiful eyeshadowing and the blue around the model's forehead and cheek looks well blended/good overall. The lashes are nice and long. The color of the lipstick is a pretty blue that goes well with the background but for some reason, seems to clash with the darker blue that is on the rest of the model's face though... Other than that, good work. PS Love the mermaid concept!

Yes. Though the image is dark- black background and sort of a green tinge, I like the movement you're exhibiting, as well as your physique. Nice strong face/expression. Arm in front kind of blocks part of your face though and not sure what the black material is for?

Yes. I love the mermaid theme and want to do a shoot like that. Lovely lighting, color scheme and great background. I like that the model's skin nice and shiny, glistening in the sun though expression is quite blank.

Still like:

I would say yes. While it's a bit too many contrasting colors, I like the feathers on the model's lashes- those are applied really well. The white shadow/black liner around the model's eyes are also applied well and I like the two-toned color of the lips. Looks like nice smooth skin on the face as well.

Pretty:

No. This is most definitely a snap shot and not in focus- quite blurry actually. The outfit does show off your figure nicely though and you have a decent pose going, as well as a nice smile.

No. This looks like a snap shot and doesn't capture the model in a very attractive light. I guess I understand the outfit- it goes with your shirt but overall this is not a good representation of your work as a photographer.

Probably yes. The style of the photo is not really for me but you've got a unique look. The pose you're doing does take skill and you look pretty good doing it- especially lower half of your body. I like the outfit you have on too. Your expression is not great though- blank. I would actually like to see this image in color.

I would say yes. I like the sun lighting in the image and the color scheme.. Love the model's red hair (beautifully styled too!).. It goes well with her red lips and the red flower in her hair is a nice touch. Cute outfit on the model. Nice pose against the car. Expression looks not quite comfortable though.

Yes. Great capture of a beautiful model. I love the color of her hair, the waviness of it and how it's parted.. Nice smooth skin, pretty makeup and love the lingerie/satin black robe around the model. The peek of lace and bra is quite sexy in a classy way. Expression is kind of blank though.

Hello, hope to hear your opinion!

I would say maybe. The image isn't my style in general but the color scheme is pretty good. I just don't really like the gritty feel of the image and that part of the model's face is shadowed. Her makeup and features look nice but expression is kind of blank. I do like her necklace and the shirt fits her nicely, but the crop isn't great.

If you base it just on the avatar, don't you think you do a dis-service to you and the the other person. Maybe it's worth taking an hour to surf profiles and ports, I know as photog I do. Many time the avatar doesn't match the rest of the port.

I asked myself, would I work with you based on your avatar, jury is still out. But then again a model with just over 2 years experience, I just have to hear the honest assessment.

It must be a slow night for me if I'm doing this.

Can't wait.

I agree with your statement, however this is just a thread and not the standard that I use when actually picking which photographers to work with. Also, if you noticed, I always look at the entire portfolio and pick out the images I think are best (if I find any).

Furthermore, since I have not asked for a critique for myself...

Now, onto your avatar. My answer is yes. I like the black and white tones and the lighting, especially on the model is quite good. The dress is lovely on her and the back very sexy. I also ike how the model's hair is styled and the pose shows off her figure well. Nicely done!

I would say yes. You have a handsome look about you and you look quite dashing in the suit. I would like to see a different color as your shirt though and the grey background blends in too much with the grey color of your suit. I also don't like that the bottom of the image is blurry but that's more the photographer's fault. I love your chiseled facial features, though would like to see more connection in your expression.

Yes. I love the lighting, the pretty soft color scheme and location. The background is a bit too blurred but love the clarity of the sand and model. The dress looks great on her, pose is sexy and really shows off her length. I also like her hair and facial features. Expression is decent- looks a bit tense around her mouth, but otherwise looks good.

True, that is a completely different question.

Yes I would work with you based on your avatar. I like the color scheme, the background/location is nice and the model is lovely- The ease/grace of her pose and her genuine smile is great. You have captured her long lean figure well and the outfit works in this case even though there are different patterns/colors. I especially like the model's accessories and high heel shoes. Also nice is the way the model's hair has movement from the wind.
