Are you doing it right? For me the results were exactly the opposite.

Would have around ten mangoes for breakfast sometimes. Didn't matter, but then again, workouts for me are based on heavy resistance and bodybuilding-type training. I rarely do endurance workouts, or even steady-state cardio. I do fine on a "gourmet raw" vegan diet, and great on a "high raw" diet that includes beans, and some cooked grains. 80-10-10 is probably best suited to people whose athletic lives are more endurance focused. I don't just do some chest workouts, for example. I bench press as much as I can, until I need assistance to rerack the bar. The next day my chest will be sore enough that it aches to apply pressure over the muscle. I  just really can't train that way without more proteins and denser calorie sources; my recovery time has never been great (even when I ate animal products), and it was just plain bad when I was doing 80-10-10.

This is first time I am hearing such a requirement.
We in India are mostly Vegetarians. But how does it make a difference in Shooting? Does a vegan body or face look different?

Neither, technically. I make the effort to be vegetarian (and abstain from grains) - otherwise I don't eat enough vegetables. I indulge a couple times a month, but not usually.

I am a full on vegan model.
No dairy, milk or eggs.
I often choose/prefer vegan/cruelty free make up and hair products. Most of the products my stylists use are vegan and cruelty free so it works out great!

Vegetarian since the age of 9, did the vegan thing for a few years but due to health problems I had to start eating dairy again. Boo hoo.

I've been vegetarian, mostly vegan, for almost a year now. I kinda follow 801010, like I eat massive fruit meals for breakfast/lunch and eat some dinners that way as well. I eat so many healthy carbs! I would go fully vegan but it's mostly the little things, like the coffee creamer I grew up drinking coffee with and stuff like that. I don't drink milk and rarely have anything with milk or eggs in it.
I really love being mostly vegan smile

Pescatarian for 35 years.  I mostly only eat what people had access to 10,000 years ago. Now I am frequently told that I look half my age.   The truth is that most people look twice their age because they failed to follow the simple instructions in their owner's manual.

Most models I know that turned vegan noticed a significant improvement in their skin and complexion.

One model in particular said that her periods went from being quite rough to a breeze.
Before being vegan she didn't even bother with castings when she had her period, she just felt she did not look herself. Once vegan ... no problem.

It's been a few months since I went back to being pescetarian (triggered by the fact my bf is vegan). I haven't really been paying attention, tbh.

I'd love to find out how many "Veggie Models" are on MLM and hear your comments.

Thanks so much.

P.S.

I just posted a vegan/vegetarian model search notice in casting:

Here's a link to our VEGETARIAN ANGELS Project:

Been considering it. I don't care for the taste of meat much. I do like eggs and dairy, though, so that would be a change.

But I feel better when I don't eat animal products, physically. I feel lighter and more energized.
